To ensure the plan of raw sugar purchases is aligned with the manufacturing team. Update and support higher management in the event of stock problems.
Gather information on the physical market on a daily basis to assess trends.
Support the planning and budgeting of annual raw sugar purchases by reviewing market prices.
Manages raw sugar inventory to ensure effective working capital
Co-ordinates with Risk Management for placing raw sugar pricing orders in a timely manner to ensure best prices for the futures market.
•To plan and execute buying and selling orders on daily basis.
•To communicate with outside brokers and trades.
•To collect and share market information and recommend courses of actions based on market movements to higher management.
•To deliver a good performance.
•Plan the daily buying and selling orders so that good fills are achieved.
•Communicate with outside traders and brokers to collect information regarding the movement of the sugar market.
•Use technical analysis (e.g. RSI, Momentum, moving averages….etc) to put a long term plans (GTC orders).
