1. To manage the sales team operation and monitor all related team activities and results
2. To ensure the achievement of volume, revenue and distribution & Market Coverage targets.
3. Provides guidance to the team where appropriate, attends visits to monitors staff performance, and takes any required corrective action to ensure maximum sales ability of the team.
4. Analyses sales information and identifies ways to improve the business.
5. Develop a relationship with higher management level of key account & implement process development plans instead of solving individually orders problems.
6. Updates the sales manager about the sales, competitor activities, other market issues and sales representatives’ reports.
7. Provides direction of work for the team and agrees appropriate route plans & visit frequencies, ensuring that all van salesman have clear monthly targets for trade activities and promotions.
8. Reviews the sales priorities of the team to ensure they correspond with current market issues such promotions and to ensure that targets are met and payment issues addressed.
9. Be able to negotiate & sign business development agreement with bigger customers, after agreeing with market manager.
1. Identify Target markets & Segments, Create awareness of the product.
2. Presenting product feature to the potential Wholesaler/Distributor through direct communication in face to face meetings, cold calling and emails.
3. Develop and manage marketing tools, collateral for existing and new distributor.
4. Handle distributor issues, resolution and communicate escalated issues to the Sales Manager.
5. Generating sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets.
6. Provide direction, guidance to the department to ensure alignment with the Company’s strategies.
7. Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, cold calling on business owners, email, and networking.
8. Retaining and establishing strong long term relationship with prevailing distributor.
9. Sending Daily/Monthly business & Collection Report to Branch Office.
10. Keeping detailed records of all contacts and reaching (and if possible exceeding) monthly sales targets.
1. Appointing, Maintaining & Motivating the Stockiest & Distributors.
