Duties & Responsibilities:
* Quantifying Architectural and Structural quantities for the main station of the project consists of
Basement, Platform, Concourse, External Works and Basement Car Park.
* Review, analyze and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, Bills of Quantity and Specifications
to facilitate or undertake detailed take offs in the format prescribed by the Project method of
measurement; for use within interim or final Payment Applications, Variations, Claims or
Subcontractor/ Supplier enquiries or payments.
* Liaise with the Project Engineering department to ensure all measurements are produced from most
recent drawing revisions and maintain marked up drawings of Project monthly progress measurements.
Maintain a drawing register related to measurement.
* Coordinate with other Project Departments such as Planning, Engineering, Operations, Procurement,
HSE, and QA/QC to ensure provision of satisfactory commercial support.
* Establish cost control methods with the Project Manager.
* Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and where appropriate negotiate with the
contractors.
* Monitor and keep track of the project progress and are responsible for the measurement and
valuation in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final
account.
Infrastructure Projects - Roads, Schools, Multi Purpose Buildings)
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Undertake quality control and oversight functions relative to rural infrastructure projects.
* Review submitted detailed engineering designs of proposed rural infrastructure projects.
* Review program of works and detailed estimates, technical specifications, implementation
schedules and cash flow requirements.
* Provide technical inputs in construction methodologies and advisory services on contract
management and project administration.
* Undertake independent confirmatory checks through field inspection to determine quality of
proposed, ongoing and completed infra projects.
* Review completion and final inspection reports, conduct final site inspection as necessary.
* Review request for payments for the actual work done by contractors.
ROC Sankyu Manar Project Industrial Type, Petro Rabigh, KSA)
(MARS Chocolate Plant Factory, King Abdullah Economic City, KSA)
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepares and submit clients invoice for monthly billing progress.
* Prepares subcontractor payment certificates for the actual work done in the site.
* Check and evaluate material requisition quotation and purchase order.
* Conduct quantity take off for architectural, structural and civil works.
* Select the nominated supplier and subcontractor as per project required.
* Reviewing valuation for progress payments.
* Prepares Variation Orders.
* Providing contractual advice as required on constructed related issues.
* Conduct ocular site inspection, checking actual premeasured quantities done in the site.
* Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.
(Roads and Highways, Buildings)
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Quantifies earthworks quantities such as excavation, backfilling, sub base, gravel, sand and other
external works finishes.
* Estimates structural quantities such as concrete and rebar’s.
* Estimates architectural finishes such as floor area, base skirting, wall area and ceiling area finishes
base on approved shop drawings and as built drawings
* Prepares budget cost of the project including material cost, manpower cost, subcontractor cost,
equipment cost, overhead and markups.
* Prepares program of works of a particular project.
* Prepares, calculates and designs plan and profile, cut and fill section of proposed roads projects
using AUTO - CADD program.
A registered member of Saudi Council of Engineers, a Civil Engineer as a Quantity Surveyor and a Registered Master Plumber with 5 years of experience. Capable of working independently with minimum supervision, and committed to providing high quality service to every project, with focus on Quantity Surveying, Project Estimation, Cost Control and Calculations of various types of infrastructure and building construction.
