Prepares and checks on the attendance of Housekeeping staff for payroll purposes.


Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the work area and equipment.

Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of public area.

Handling of Lost and Found items and storage items. Handling and monitoring of stocks for the Housekeeping supplies. Issuing of Cleaning Materials, Equipment and Room Attendant Supplies.

Relieving the absence of Linen Attendant.

Responsible for the operation of all Housekeeping cleaning functions in the apartments, offices, public areas and back of the house.
Supervises through the Linen/Uniform Attendants, the operations of the laundering of house linens and uniforms

. Ensures that all apartments, function rooms, public areas, back of the house areas and their surroundings conform to the apartment standards of cleanliness, maintenance and orderliness.

Inspect apartments and premises regularly; ensures that alll furnishing, facilities and equipment are cleaned, repaired, maintained and replaced as necessary and inform management of requirements; see to it that deficienceies in work of personnel are corrected.

Determines the need for general cleaning, repairs and remodelling; co-ordinated such work activities with the Engineering and Sales Departments.

Conducts on-the-job training, meets with staff to discuss problems and futureplans and provides information and assignments etc.

Controls and maintains a sufficient inventory of all necessary housekeeping materials, supplies and linen.

Ensures the proper scheduling of personnel to meet daily cleaning and service requirements.

Approves and/or prepares maintenance work orders, requisition reports on tenant complaints and other inter-office memoranda

Administers the Lost & Found Service.

Responsible for the Inventory control of both the apartments and cleaning supplies, ordering replacement when necessary. Performs any other duties as may required. Performs Manager on Duty (MOD) on weekdays and weekends.
