• Liaison with International shipping lines such as Maersk, UASC, APL, Danzas, Inchcape right from close monitoring and tracking of the shipments from the time of dispatch till arrival at Factory.
• Liaising with Multinational suppliers for shipment of cargo and relevant documentation.
• Co-ordination with banks / finance dept. for Establishing LC and document arrival and clearance.
• Co-ordination and clearance of air shipments /Courier Parcels with the assistance of subordinates.
• Advice procurement team immediately if materials are not delivered as stated with regard to damage, quantities, on time or incorrect specification.
• Co-ordinate with Shipping lines, Material control department, Port Authority and other departments for the timely clearance for the shipments.
• Co-ordinate with Buyers and Accounts department for required documents as per the sale & purchase and L/C requirement
• Liaison with Customs, Port and other Government offices.
• Responsible for all routine administrative work and documentation related to shipping and customs clearance.
• Checking of freight invoices for payment.
• Liaison with suppliers for the timely shipment of devices being imported from various countries.
• Coordination with forwarders for the documents.
