Description of duties
As Project Manager- equivalent to Team Leader for the tasks for different phases: Design Phase (Upto 15 Months): Responsible for topographic survey; road alignment; design of road, vertical and horizontal curves; traffic studies; pavement study including Geo-Technical investigation; road safety plan; environmental and social impact studies; estimation of quantities, unit rate analysis & cost estimates. Preparation of Detailed Project Report and various other reports etc.

Construction and Operation & Maintenance Phase (Upto 28 Months): Review Designs and Contract Documents. Liaise with the Client, Engineer regarding Specifications and Standards and prepare Project Specifications and Standards for design, materials and construction. Responsible for execution of the work as per specifications, planning of deployment of men, machinery and equipment at site, planning for asphalt work, excavation, asphalting, slope protection works, fixing of signboards, painting and all related works. Duties also included review of pavement design, modification of mix design based on test results, quality control of materials and completed works, also responsible for Planning, scheduling, coordinating with consultants, clients, project team, procurement of material, monitoring of project, identifying bottle necks, trouble shooting, contract management etc. Liaison with client regarding shifting of utility & land acquisition. Liaison with design consultant regarding finalization of toll plaza location & bus bay location. Preparation of BOQ for change of scope work. Preparation of construction programme to achieve the project target. Preparation and schedule of Maintenance manual. Inspect and report Toll Highway system during Operation Period and provide review of Operation and Maintenance.
