• Undertake recycling and refurbishment process of all OSN Decoders and Smartcards.
• Ensure high quality robust hardware recycling and refurbishment process through effective coordination with warehouses, Dealers, Repairing centers, internal departments and suppliers.
• Maximum ROI - reduce turn around period of returned decoders through prompt recycling & redeployment of returned stock.
• Monitor decoder repairing cycles to ensure commercial viability of repairing costs.
• Identify refurbishment material requirements, monitor current stock & stock diminishing pattern, report replenishment accordingly.
• Assist Quality Control Engineer & Refurbishment Manager in building & updating “Standard Recycling processes”.
• Ensure all hardware goes through full the recycling process and the final products are technically and aesthetically qualified to OSN standard.
• Inspect 3rd party refurbished hardware at each stage on random basis.
• Train Installation Technicians, 3rd party provided technicians and unskilled labors.
• Assist to ensure repair of decoders within warranty period through regular follow up with suppliers, repair centers, dealers, warehouses etc.
• Lead special technical projects related to new and returned stock technical upgrading.
• Ensure minimum and re-order stock levels of refurbishment materials. Make advance purchase requisitions.
