• Plan, direct and control the day-to-day operational activity of diversified critical complex of Hydrocracker. Which consist of Vacuum plant, Hydro-cracking (UNIBON) plant, Hydrogen generation plant, Sour water stripper plant, H2S removal plant, sulphur recovery plant; producing predetermined quantities refined value added specified products at optimum cost, ensuring implementation of all operating instructions, to achieve specified out put under safe operating conditions, utilizing highly technical and complex problem solving skills along with specialized oil refining knowledge, while ensuring that the agreed Section KPIs, production and product quality targets are met and best practice technology is continuously incorporated to enhance safety of plant and personnel
• Provides essential technical support and advice to the Manager and various Department Section Heads to ensure safe, efficient and optimal functioning of various Department operating units and systems. Troubleshoot the day to day activities and the chronic problems with the concerned section heads. Monitor and reports to manager the routine activities, making sure to achieve department objectives. Coordinate new projects, major maintenance and shutdowns, and modifications with concerned personnel and providing recommendations to ensure plant reliability, safety and maximum efficiency. Reviews and studies project documents and modification proposals; initiates and compiles budget proposals; and ensures implementation of action plans on all aspects of operation matters, in order to achieve optimum performance.
• Assumes full responsibility as section head in all aspects of Operations Department Sections (Hydroskimmer-Hydrocracker-Base oil), during the absence of section heads on leaves or assignment whenever required or assigned.
• Reports to Operations Department Manager. Carries out work according to established plant operating and engineering policies, procedures and specialised professional standards.
• Support the operation assistance Diesel Hydrotreater, Sulfur Recovery, Sour water treatment, and Amine Regeneration Plants.
• Perform Mass and heat balance, equipment design and rating.
• Responsible for the daily monitoring all the jobs done in the units including the operating conditions, maintenance work and chemical injection and dosing.
• De-bottle necking, and unit revamp including equipment preliminary design and rating.
• Responsible for any kind of revamps that done in the units by carrying out the whole design and specifies any new operating conditions (PFCPs).
• Support the operation assistance Hydrocracker Unit (UOP Licensed Units unit) and Hydrogen Unit.
• Perform Mass and heat balance, equipment design and rating.
• Responsible for the daily monitoring all the jobs done in the units including the operating conditions, maintenance work and chemical injection and dosing.
• De-bottle necking, and unit revamp including equipment preliminary design and rating.
• Plan and implement process/utility-related activities aimed at maximizing plant capacity, efficiency and safety.
• Responsible for any kind of revamps that done in the units by carrying out the whole design and specifies any new operating conditions (PFCPs).
• Contacting and cooperate with UOP Technical service Department to overcome ant problem that may the units experience.
- Follow the equipment efficiency (heat exchangers, heaters, pumps, compressors, reformers)
- Follow the unit's performance.
- Calculate the mass balance of the units.
- Calculate the chemical & steam consumption.
- Supervise the unit(s) operation conditions.
- Supervise the unit(s) crew performance
