Besides its share in the IPP (Independent Power Plants) and IWPP (Independent Power & Water Plants) across Saudi and the GCC region.
The main drive for power generation is the Generation Business Group (GBG), with its four Operating Area (OA); Eastern, Central, Southern & Western
 Contracts advisory & consultation for all CAPEX & OPEX (EPC/EPCM/LSTK/UR) projects, along with all the Bidders/Contractors negotiations in the pre-award & post-award of Contracts.
 Participate and provide inputs to management for negotiation with contractors to obtain settlement for disputes. Act as Lead person for case preparation on contractual issues including interfacing with Legal.
 Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non-conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions.
 Study and recommend for management major methods and programs for continuous improvement in contract administration functions.
 Coordinate with multiple departments in preparation/ checking of draft applications for Contracts Deliverables performance bonds & Insurance and also monitoring validity/ renewals and contract/ subcontract expiry.
 Interpret and evaluate terms and conditions of the executed Contract Documents from commercial, technical, financial, and legal point of view.
 Review and draft of amendments to the contracts for any inconsistency, errors, or ambiguity.
 Prepare change orders requests as per the requirement and suggestion received from end-users.
 Pre-qualifying Contractors for pre-defined qualification categories and developing the pre-qualification process to ensure a seamless execution and market synchronization.
 Reviewing the existing qualified Contractors on a regular basis to make sure their adherence & compliance with the updated International codes/standards and the rapid market changes.
 Ensure that Saudization requirement are being followed, government policies for training & developing locals are implemented.
 Ensure that systematic attention is given to safe methods of working and that all safety procedures are followed aptly.
 Ensure Quality standards with effective and systematic review and inspections; ensure that work is regulated and controlled to the specified standards.
 Supporting the client to effectively translate his needs into a workable scope that can be turned into a successful seamless project.
 Provide guidance and support in drafting the working polices & procedures.

Al Ain Al Sokhna Supercritical Thermal Power Plant 2 x 650 MW
Project Description
El Ain El Sokhna is designed to include a 2×650 MW supercritical steam thermal power plant for interconnection to the National Unified Power System (NUPS) through the new 500 KV GIS Switchyard facility. The power block comprises two identical Rankine cycle turbine generator units, each with a nominal rated capacity of 650 MW. The units are capable of generating rated capacity using natural gas, residual (mazout/HFO) oil, or a combination of both.
The contracting plan for the project utilizes the multi-package system. All equipment and services is procured through “18 contracting packages and purchase orders”. PGESCo, as Owner authorized representative was responsible for the preparation of all tender documents including commercial and legal terms following the financing institutes and Owner procurement guidelines, technical specifications, project management, and construction management as well as startup and commissioning management including initial operation support.
