1. The main function of this position is configuring, activating and troubleshooting TEData network equipment (DSLAMs, MSANs, GPON(FTTx), Aruba WiFi) and To understand the current TE Data access network technologies applied with all offered service.
2. To revise access service SLAs and measures.
3. To suggest use of quality/service assurance reports to find a way to control troubles and optimize network performance.
4. To enhance and facilitate the tools used to monitor/control network operation.
5. To translate that new projects/setup to a way of operation and troubleshooting steps and knowledge; then communicate this information to NOC.
6. To train and evaluate employees, addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
7. To perform any other duties requested by the Direct Manager.
1. The main function of this position is configuring and activating TEData network equipment (DSLAMs, MSANs, GPON(FTTH), Aruba WiFi).
2. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving transmission problems
3. This position is also responsible for capacity planning for TEData Networks
4. This position also requires action tracking, ticketing, and managing change control.
5. Open and close trouble, maintenance, and change control tickets within a specific time frame, while detailing the issue for the ease of knowledge transfer.
6. Commissioning and activating new Hardware (DSLAMs - Routers- Switches -….) according to templates.
7. Responsible for all Transmission Installation activities
8. Responsible for DSL Installation and activations
9. Contact and deploy the Field Technician for any appropriate problems
10. Understanding of MRTG, NOMS, OTS, Secure CRT - telnet, SSH, AWS, AMS, IManager and network analyzer Tools
1 - Technical support troubleshooting for customers ADSL connectivity problems
2- Escalating Technical Cases to 2nd Level of Support to perform investigation about physical and logical cases.
3- Ability to configure different types of customer premises equipment CPEs (3com, Linksys, ST510, ST585, Huawei...etc) with PVC to enable Connectivity .
4- Follow up with on customers cases till to be solved.
5- Achieve higher level of customers service and orientation to follow standards of TEData Customer service

1. Install UPS hardware & software
2. Deal with many brand of UPS such as Galaxy 3000, Galaxy 5000, Galaxy 6000 and comet 3000
3. Troubleshooting hardware or software problems in UPS
4. Periodic test (every one month, three months, six months or one year) to avoid and detect any problems
