• Managing all inbound & outbound shipments logistics service for direct & indirect materials with Value 180 Million EGP/ monthly ( Air/Sea/Inland), through managing company customs clearance team, 3PL
customs clearance companies, Logistics service providers for Giza Cable &
sister companies .
• Representing the company against ITDA / Export funding/ Value add Tax authorities in export refunding, machines importation licenses approval.
• Lead Procurement process for all logistics providers to get best service, quality with better cost in the right time .
• Submit logistics cost study for any export projects in Africa, Middle East, in collarbition with Export sales team based on tender technical file .
Main Achievements:
• Achieve saving 2 Million EGP in 2019 total saving from Logistics cost for EXW, FOB shipments & shipments inland transportation through price negotiation & building long term contracts on shipping lines, freight forwards .
• Register company on Ministry of Finance customs draw back system to refund 1.5 Million EGP from materials scrap customs duties & VAT form exported shipments 2019
• Establish company profile on IDA ( Industrial development authority ) to get
5 % VAT duties instead of 14 % for imported production lines with total saving
800 K EGP .
• Lead company products ( 420 SKU ) registration on ICA ( Industrial control authority ) to get 9 Million EGP refund of VAT & customs duties scrap value for local sales 2019 .
• Converting purchase requests ( PR) to purchase orders via BPCS ERP based on
Production plan needs, current stocks & open orders .
• Supervising logistics service for import shipment ( raw/ Packing materials) & exporting finished products.
• Managing 6 local suppliers delivery schedule , forecast, production plan
& 60 foreign suppliers in terms of delivery time, order follow up,
due invoices payment based on MPS/ MRP update on monthly & quarter base.
• Participating in NPI ( new product introduction ) with Marketing, Make &
regulatory team regarding packing materials developing, new materials
delivering for new formula, POPI ( phase out phase in) process for any
new product launch .
Main Achievements :
• Lead cost Saving project value 450 K EGP in 2014 to decrease local transportation
expenses by 35 % compared to last 2 years
• Active Participate in J&J EAME Caps standardization project in aligning with
Souring, SQM, Packing Engineer to decrease Caps suppliers from 20 to 12 within region to get saving 2.5 Million EURO 2015 by standardize its spec.
• Working closely with Finance in J&J STF project ( Shaping to Future ) with Make, Quality departments for SAP / BPCS ERP, Ariba system for indirect purchasing implementation in Marketing office & Plant regarding direct materials master data management setup for (450 items), direct materials vendors creation (110 vendors) .
• Receiving excellent in 4 out of 6 KPI of 2016 goals in additional of getting
gold encore for excellent support of Make & quality teams which allow
Cairo Plant to finish 2016 over production target by 15 % .
Main Duties:
Following the shipping orders with Clinilab customs brokers and Clinilab foreign supplier.
Working closely with key international suppliers and freight forwarders agents .
Preparing invoices, shipping documents and contracts.
Place orders after confirmation with the warehouse.
Reporting in monthly basis on the imported shipments focusing on cost, lead time variation, condition of commodities and performance of clearance agent.
Determine the best shipping methods for order and confirm with the customers.
Checking inventory records to determine the availability of requested stock items through company Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Recommending type of packing and labeling needed for an order.
Evaluating freight or inventory costs associated with transit times to ensure that costs are appropriate.
Work as a link between supplier, warehouse and customers.

Main Duties:
• Dealing with all concerned governmental bodies to get the required approval and permissions for imported medical supplies and devices (Ministry of Health, Pharmaceutical Affairs Authority, Health Policies Committee.. etc)
• Tracking and coordinating with Customs Clearance Agents to assure the smooth flow of the imported items.
• Dealing with the company international suppliers in order to guide them on how they would issue the shipment documents to comply with the Egyptian laws and regulations.
• Reporting in monthly basis on the imported shipments focusing on cost, lead time variation, condition of commodities, performance of clearance agent, and any unusual circumstances faced in order to help the top management in further decision making process.
• Follow the stock items level at the warehouses, Ensuring goods are stored safely & maintaining statistical and financial records for the stock items .
• Control the purchasing budgets, negotiating with suppliers to get the best prices, Following up with suppliers concerning delivery times & Researching for new suppliers .
Additional Duties:
• Occasionally help in dealing with specific customers and closing sales deals.
• Handling some administrative works to help my colleagues in other departments such as preparing Sales Tax report, finalizing bank transfers and L/Cs, Office expenses reporting, ..etc.
• Mange & update company website
• Arrange the GM meetings & co-ordinate the hr duties in the company
Areas of Training:
• In the Export Department: preparation of customs export documents and getting the required approvals from the governmental bodies.
• In the Shipping Department: Supervising shipment activities to make sure that consignment and containers’ loading is to be made according the order specifications and requirements.
• In the Import Department: helping in organizing and preparing all required import documents to be ready for customs clearance. In addition, clearing the small and sample imported shipments in coordination with Courier Companies (DHL, Aramex, TNT..)
