ESP Calculations for AHU&FANS
Determines required airflow rates for spaces, zones and the system.
Selection of Equipment like AHUs, FCUs, Grilles and Diffusers.
Pipe Sizing and Piping Layout.
Pump Head Calculations for the HVAC System.
Review the “Issued for Construction” drawings.
Lead a team of draftsmen and assign the jobs and responsible for the quality of drawings.
Prepare the request for information (RFI).
Review all the HVAC & MEP Coordination shop drawings prepared and submit to Main Contractor/Consultant.
Preparing Shop drawings like Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting.
• As built drawing preparation showing all new locations, elevations, sizes & distances
• Preparing Co-ordination drawings for all MEP Services.
• Preparing Risers Co-ordination drawings. Preparing the Sectional and Detailing Drawing
• Import all shop drawings like HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, electrical, builder
• Work openings drawings etc.
• Coordinate the ductwork with other trade i.e. structural, piping & interior design.
• Complete Planning & Preparing of Co-ordination drawings with reference to latest .
• addendum of Architectural, Structural and Rcp layouts
• Especially we prepared plant rooms and pump rooms of MEP Co-ordination.
• To maintain records of design, specification and catalogue’s as per institutional requirements
• Basic knowledge of Air-conditioning design.
• Preparation of duct layout from single line diagram conceptual sketches & Engineering.
• Preparing Schedules for the Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units, Chillers, Pumps, Fittings,
• Duct size calculations by constant friction / velocity reduction method as per client
• Requirement. Standardizing duct sizes & Plenum size
