General:-
• Assist and Support the senior tool pusher (STP) to implement the policies, procedures, standard, training and safe system of work as outlined in the Weatherford Drilling Business Management System (BMS) at the rig
site.
• Always ensure that all personnel including visitors to the site are fully aware of the Weatherford Drilling
International (WDI) policies and procedures prior to being exposed to the worksite
• Auditing of WDI policy and procedures is a part of my duties
Financial Responsibilities:-
• Determine means of improving efficiency and reducing costs where possible, investigate and take corrective
action when required
QHSE Responsibilities: -
• Lead Through effective safety leadership by being responsible for the administration and implementation of the HSSE management system
• Ensure a safe working environment without harm to persons or the environment
• Address HSSE issues at the time of their identification
• Ensure compliance with company HSSE policies by all personnel, support personal and take time out for safety, when necessary
• Ensure waste management plan is adhered to • Ensure that permit to work system and other HSE management tools are used correctly Initiate, lead and
participate in safety discussion, safety drills and inspection
Operation:-
• Observe personnel on a regular basis and monitor compliance with all safety procedures, standards and policies
• Assist the STP and Rig Superintendent to monitor the annual HSE plans and HSE objectives
• Conduct hazard survey / checks as per WDI Procedures
• Assist concerned parties with hazard mitigation
• Advise supervisors of risk levels for hazard as per WDI Policies and Procedures
• Analysis hazard identification reports, present trends and relevant data to rig and country management
• Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk to ensure quality hazard identification and uniform approach to hazard management
• Co-ordinate safety meeting as per WDI Procedures
• Review, and discuss weekly QHSSE report with all personnel present at the rig
• Attend pre-tour meetings to both ensure content complies with BMS requirements and assist supervisors with information and advice
• Ensure HSE related information and training is presented to the rig crew in their native language
• Conduct regular internal awareness training sessions as per WDI Procedures with all crews in relation to safe work practice and skills, including but not confined to: manual handling techniques; PPE fitting & correct use; Hazard identification; work at height; Permit To Work (PTW), TRA training & Fire Fighting
• Co-ordinate, assist and record emergency drills as per WDI Standards
• Document and distribute the written summary (meeting minutes etc) of all emergency drills, general safety
meeting as per WDI Standards
• Perform induction for all new crewmembers and visitors as per WDI standards and policies.
• Assist the STP with permit to work (PTW) administration and perform random PTW Audit as per WDI
procedures
• Provide assistance to STP in ensuring maintenance and operability of all emergency response equipment as per WDI policies
• Regularly review PPE compliance including adequate stock levels for the rig, and order PPE as per required as per WDI policies
• Intervene and coach crew on safety issues using positive developmental techniques as per WDI procedures
• Coordinate and track the close out of the daily RADAR card (Stop Cards) as per WDI procedures
• File and maintain copies of all TRA / SOP's records, ensuring crewmember are complying with specified
safe working procedures
• Assist the supervisors with maintaining and updating the improvement commitment register, Auditing
Action Tracking Register, and Incident Tracking
• Update the safety bulletin boards with current and relevant information as per WDI policies and procedures
• Assist department supervisors with implementation and presentation of theme of the month topics (special
emphasis programs) as per WDI procedures
• Assist the STP in the development and implementation of emergency plans WDI policies
• Produce and coordinate the health hygiene and environmental component of the daily pre-tour for presentation by the meeting chairperson as WDI policies
• Assist with incident investigations including reporting and close our of recommended action, as per WDI
policies
People Management:-
• To encourage personal development for succession planning consistent with the competency assurance
program as per WDI standards
• Ensure that training programs are maintained in line with training matrix
• Encourage and support employees for personal development
Business Planning / Continuous Improvement / Organization Efficiency:-
• Assist the STP to conduct pre-tour meeting with rig crews to communicate daily objectives, special
instructions, safety precautions and training activities as required and anticipate / correct any problem
• Review all operational / Technical bulletins, communicate pertinent points to crew members and implement
all directives as required
• Attend the daily operation meeting to present rig operation performance
• Initiate in liaison with STP modification to any procedure if deemed necessary with department and final
head office approval
Customer / Public Relations:-
• Develop and maintain effective customer relationship. React promptly to client requirements with regard to material, equipment and personal and provide technical advice where needed and as required, Ensure in the
same time line management approval if feasible
• Keep good communication with the client representative and make sure misunderstanding or bad
communication does not develop within the people working on the rig

• Make training for employees about (hand and finger injury), (hand, power tools and manual handling), (man riding), (fall from height), (climbing on the derrick), (crane and fork lift (Banksman signals)), (fire fighting), Etc.
• Call a Time Out for Safety (TOFS) whenever an unplanned hazard or a change in the expected results is observed.
• Seek continuous improvement and give the legal advice to the management
