• Prepare design drawings, calculations and authority approval submissions.
• Prepare documentation for Estidama credits and attendance at weekly meetings and Urban Planning Council audits.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings to ensure they are consistent with the approved design, client requirements, and project specifications, and shop drawings to ensure that detailed project deliverables is consistent with the client guidelines and project specifications.
• Inspect the installed mechanical works to ensure compliance with the contract documents, approved shop drawings and submittals, and per international best practices.
• Oversee the Revit draft people to assist in design and engineering solutions for all projects.
• Survey existing site conditions prior to start of mechanical works.
• Review materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report findings to project manager.
• Check that materials delivered to site are properly stored and report discrepancies.
• Prepare daily logs and reports of inspections, test performed and work executed.
• Perform all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings and present options and solutions as required.
• Prepare snag lists after completion works
• Witness start up, testing and commissioning, and handover of the works.
• Coordinate with district cooling provider for chilled water primary side systems and equipment’s.
• Manage own continuous development and support the development of junior colleagues.
• Execute projects from the drawing stage.
• Procure of equipment and materials once the design is approved.
• Organize manpower and materials to execute the work in scheduled time.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and main contractor for design and programme approval.
• Execute and inspect contractor works such as ducting, chilled water pipe installation, FCU installation, quality control, preparation of bills, finishing works co-ordination with management and consultant.
• Maintain daily records for materials and quality control of the workmanship.
• Update senior management on progress of work and store keeping.
• Coordinate with sub-contractor and main contractors.
• Prepare project schedule, distribution of workmanship & subcontractors to follow up the works including duct fabrication, insulation, chilled water piping, equipment installation, refrigerant piping etc. for the on time completion of the project.
• Prepare of technical submittals including statement of compliance, equipment data sheets and drawings.
• Review design of consultant, prepare shop drawings & bill of quantities.
• Coordinate with plumbing, drainage and fire protection services.
• Prepare drawings such as ducting layout, piping layout, technical specification & bill of quantity from field take offs from drawings.
• Inspect contractor’s works for ducting, piping etc.
• Review and approve sub-contractors payment applications for submission to client.
• Provides technical assistance to junior engineers and draftsmen.
• Oversee installation testing and commissioning of equipment including air handling and fan coils to obtain sign off from Client and Consultant
• Design of HVAC, water supply, drainage and fire protection, for various high-rise residential, commercial, and industrial buildings including hotels, shopping centres and villa developments.
• Shop drawing preparation and approvals.
• Material and method statement approval including calculations and site mock-up installations.
• Review and approval of commissioning & assist in handover process.
• Co-ordinate with other building services.
• Site Supervision off water supply drainage and firefighting services.
