- Create and improve the Cost Control
department policies, procedures and processes
to ensure efficient functioning.
- Review new-awarded projects, identify initial
cost related risks, areas of concern, and prepare
preliminary cash flow for financial needs.
- Reviewing cost control reports on a monthly
basis to ensure that all projects are kept within
the agreed company profitability plan.
- Prepare Projects Sectors consolidated cost
reports.

- Reviewing Project Labor, Staff, and Equipment Histograms.
- Prepare P&L consolidated reports.

- Preparing Material monitoring reports including Inventory Management.

- Producing regular reports and advising management promptly of any forecast cost over / under run, with recommendation for corrective action.
- Establish Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), integrate with WBS and generate activity / cost codes accordingly.
- Review Purchase orders versus budget.
- Preparing Estimate at completion (EAC) and Cost to Complete (CTC).
- Co-ordinate with the Project management team to resolve the project issues to ensure the completion of the project within schedule and budget.
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Perform project cost control report on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget. - Report Earned Value per trends and Project and identify trends that impact the final cost projections.
- Preparation of measurement sheets and assists in quantity take-off for tenders.
- Follow up Tendering Document, Clarifications and Addendums.
- Verification of Requirements for Methods of Measurements and Specifications.
- Prepares Comparison Sheets for quotations from Suppliers and Subcontractors.
- Estimate Quantities for Procurement.
- Prepare Subcontractors & Suppliers Invoices.
- Calculate the Rate of Consumption for main materials for Cost Control.
- Coordination between Structure & Arch drawing.
- Prepare Structural Shop-Drawing, As Built Drawings and follow approval from Consulting.
- Prepare Bar Bending List.
- Quantity Survey for all different items of the Project.
- Attend Technical discussion with the Client and provide Technical Support for Construction Activities.
- Responsible for day to day Site Work.
- Follow up with Site Engineers of Subcontractor to ensure that work is being carried out as per Design Drawings, Specifications and meeting planned dates in Approved Schedule.
- Ensure that Communication regarding any changes in plan have reached the Sub-Contractor’s Representatives.
