Key Highlights:
•Contributed to the Concept & Detail Design for pumping station and rising main and raise the technical comments for betterment of the concept design.
Key Responsibilities:
•Review pumping station and rising main Concept Design and Detail Design and put technical comments for making betterment of the design as per client requirement and Qatar Sewerage Design Manual.
•Review material submittal for electro mechanical equipment such as wet well pump, inlet screen, penstock, surge vessel, electric overhead crane, Motorized gate valve and other equipment.
•Inspect material on site, supervise installation of electro mechanical equipment and proceed for Testing and Commissioning.
•Attend weekly design meeting for pumping station on Concept Design and detail design with client, contractor and designer, and raise technical recommendation during the meetings.
•Review and approve material submittal, method statement, and ITP for the project.
•Follow up safety at site and ensure contractor implement safety at site with Zero Incident.
•Prepare minutes of meeting for the technical meeting.
•Hand over the project with deliverable to the client.

•Al Khor Sewerage Project - Construction of Sewer Network in Al Khor pumping out 4000 m3/day - Civil Project
CP-707/1 Budget: QAR 120 million.
•Roads & Infrastructure for Commercial Street in Al Khor Area include storm water pumping station with capacity of 2000 m3/day - Civil Project QN003 Budget: QAR 245 million.
Key Highlights:
•Contributed to the handing over of both projects to the client on time & within budget.
•Improved overall project efficiency by supervising testing & commissioning of submersible pumps, penstocks, Mechanical and Manual bar screens, Electric overhead crane, surge vessel, wash water system, stand-by diesel generator, odor control unit and executing hydrostatic tests of ductile iron pipes.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead site inspections of mechanical plant, equipment & systems to confirm adherence of as-constructed works with project specifications and produce reports & documentation of changes to approved design.
•Evaluate preliminary & detailed design submittals of contractors and ensure compliance with Employer’s requirements, project specifications, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS 2014) and KAHRAMAA General Specifications.
•Ensure adherence of mechanical construction drawings with the discipline design drawings before commencement of works at site and highlight discrepancies to the project manager for corrective actions.
•Implement the project quality plan and monitor compliance with approved quality procedures related to mechanical scope of work. Supervise installation, testing & commissioning of mechanical plant & equipment including submersible pumps, penstocks, Mechanical and Manual bar screens, Electric overhead crane, odor control unit, stand-by diesel generator, surge vessel & wash water system.
•Coordinate all required tests including leak tests for on-seating/off-seating penstocks, hydrostatic tests for ductile iron pipes, testing of mechanical & manual bar screens.
•Contribute to the successful on time completion of assigned projects by coordinating activities related to factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), plant commissioning & performance tests in preparation of site handover.
•Support senior management personnel with advice on engineering matters related to design & construction supervision focusing on safe construction practices (Target Zero) as well as high construction quality.
Public Works Authority (Ashghal) - Operation & Maintenance Department- Pumping Stations Division and Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP

Key Highlights:
•Contributed to the establishment of the Asset Data System of Ashghal by creating an asset register of storm water and sewerage pumping stations.
•Successfully executed several projects for refurbishment of existing & construction of new pumping stations, cleared snag lists and handed over assets to the O&M department.
Key Responsibilities:
•Managed all O&M jobs related to refurbishment of Doha South Sewage Treatment Plan with inlet sewage flow of 125, 000 m3/day in year 2010 and sewerage pumping stations including replacement of inlet penstocks & upgrading of existing submersible pumps to meet increased flow requirements.
•Monitoring Key performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as Operation & Maintenance KPI, Health, and Safety & Environment.
•O&M of Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) equipment such as various types of pumps, odor control units, mechanical screen, sequence batch reactor (SBR), Blowers, air compressors, Pre and Post treatment, MCC Panels and Instrumentation .
•Led a cross-functional group in the Pumping Station Group 4 and coordinated all activities from turnover to closeout for completing refurbishment projects on time and within budget.
•Executed all planned jobs including installation of penstocks, pumps, valves, screens, odor control units & modification of pressure vessel and managed installation & commissioning along with over pumping.
•Planned & executed predictive, preventive & corrective maintenance schedules for all O&M equipment & devices ensuring targeted plant availability & reliability.

•Received a Letter of Appreciation from the management of RLPC for contributions to the major overhauling of Power Block 1 - gas turbine 1, steam turbine 1, HRSG 1 & MSFE plants 1-4 - facilitating safe & sound execution of works in collaboration with other teams for on time completion of the outage in a highly professional manner.

•Assembly and operate different machinery equipment including Bobcat, Forklift, small Pickup car, pumps and motors.
•Supported site operation team in installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, shutdown & Operation and Maintenance of equipment of the 750 MW combined cycle power station & 40 MIGD water plant including Frame 9E gas turbines & auxiliaries, Siemens steam turbine & auxiliaries, heat recovery steam generators, water treatment & cooling water systems, MSFE Evaporators (desalination) & re-mineralization plants.
•Conducted technical inspections & operated equipment like heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), water treatment plant, cooling towers, MSFE Evaporators (desalination) plants, gas & steam turbines.
•Raised job cards (work orders) for planned maintenance jobs in the CMMS system and followed up for on time completion of all planned work.
•Monitored compliance with all HSE rules & regulations reported near misses and ensured adherence to safe working practices to maintain zero LTA status. Implemented the tag out - lock out procedure for electrical jobs.
•Prepared and maintained start-up check lists for all rotary equipment and chemical analysis reports of process water ensuring adherence to specified quality standards.
