Project Manager for 5 medical Health Centers owned by the Ministry of Health located at El Sediq zone, funitees zone, Abou feteera, Al Mesella and Public Health Center with total value of 35 Million KD
Deputy Projects Director for the following projects:
1. Project Management Services for Credit Agricole Egypt Head Office Complex Project-New Cairo City.
The scope includes, but not limited to the following:
• Complete Project Management services including Design -Preconstruction-construction stages scope of work including management of consultants contracts from Bid to final submittals.
• Design review and management of design procedures/stages with client and consultants.
• Manage, monitor and control the project master schedule according to client desired milestones.
• Assessment of contractors prequalifications, Issue Tender Documents, Manage tender queries & clarifications, tender evaluation, issue construction documents and Contractor/Consultant contracts.
2. Cost Management services for the Renovation of Conrad Hotel in Cairo
The scope includes the assessment of the Conrad Hotel current status and introducing proposed renovation scenarios with relevant cost estimate and budget analysis.
3. Construction Due-Deligencies Management Services (Independent Technical Consultant) for the following projects:
Designopolis Project-Cairo Alexandria High way
BioGeneric Pharma Manifacturing facility Project-10th, of Ramadan Manufacturing City
The scope in the above 2 projects includes, but not limited to the following:
• Determine the existance of any fatal flow that could impact the project's economics and monitor the project's program to ensure that the project is progressing according to the forecasted time schedule and budget.This is achieved by issuing an initial evaluation report and 4 quarterly reports addressing the project status from 3 main prospectives Fianacial, Construction and Contracts from the following prospectives:
- Verification of the amount spent as equity contribution by shareholdres.
- Assessment of the actual site progress verses the planned based on the Project Manager/Consultants progress assessment as well as actual site general progress evaluation and comparing with the current industry practices.
- Evaluation of project execution plan
- The adequacy of project contingencies
- Reasonableness and efficiency of the procurement execution plan
Deputy Regional Manager for the following projects:
1. Construction Managment and supervision consultant of two MEGA Projects ( Housing- Infrastructure) in Libya with approximate value of 550 million US$.
• Implement remote management to the project from Cairo and through regular visits to Libya representing the company.
• Develop and ensure the implementation of the project management plan, staffing plan and recruiting our required staff members to fulfill our CMCS scope of work.
• Control the (In/Out) cash flow along the project duration.
• Leading the mothly progress meeting / coordination/ meetings with the Program Manager (AECOM), Client (HIB) and the contractors.
• Perform monthly staff audit and implement corrrective actions
• Ensure the Client's and Program Manager satisfaction regarding our performance
• Review the monthly progress reports before issuance to the Program Manager/Client.
2. Structural - MEP Design for AMWAG sky towers in Umm Al Quwain. (U.A.E).
• External and internal Coordination with the Architectural designer from one side and the Structural -MEP departments from another side.
• Managing the development of the structural and MEP Concept and preliminary design along the project schedule.
• Leading the regular progress meetings with the Architectural designer and the client
• Ensuring the application of operators requirment and applied regulations.
• Achieving the Contract administration scope of work.
3. Infrastructure Design for AlFalah Community (13.4 million m2) in Abu Dhabi (U.A.E).
• Seeking design approvals with our technical staff from Abu Dhabi municipality
• Managing the development of the infrastructure Concept, preliminary and detailed design along the project schedule.
• Achieving the Contract administration scope of work.
• Representing the company in progress meetings/high level meetings with other project parties
• Achieving the Contract administration scope of work.
4. Structural Design for 3 sky towers (Marina sky towers ) in Dubai.(U.A.E).
• Managing the development of the structural Concept design along the project schedule.
• Achieving the Contract administration scope of work.
• External and internal Coordination with the Architectural/MEP designers from one side and our structural department from the other side.
Job Description:
Working in the Project Management Organaization as:
1-Project Coordinator for Holiday Inn Hotel Project - City Stars
2-Project Coordinator for Commercial Center (phase 2)- City Stars
• Coordination amongst various contractors / consultants engaged for different trades aiming for timely completion of project.
• Leading all the weekly progress meeeting, coordination/ operational meetings with the operator and the client.
• Issuing and replying on all the correspondances related to the project.
• Trouble shooting - Interfere with the contractors and create fast track recovery plans to overcome the occurred delays through the project life time.
• Preparing the weekly and monthly Progress reports issued to the Client.
• Evaluate / coordinate any design change or new requirements by the operator/client.
• Handing over processes to the operator/Client.
3-Super Intended Engineer for the Intercontinental Health Club:
• Detailed Site Supervision for Architectural and MEP works.
• Following up the time schedule and related contractual issues.
• Managing and recording all the progress, coordination and operation meetings with contractor, consultants, operator and owner.
• Reviewing, assessing and releasing Contractor's submitted payments, variations.
• Handing over processes to the operator.
4- Contract Administator -Cost Controller:
• Preparation of tender document, tender evaluation, negotiations and selection of contractors.
• Gather and compile essential data from site works to provide a full administration to the contracts .
• Preparation of Project Budget along the project life time.
• Review, study and reply to the contractual claims submitted by contractors.
5- Payments, Variations and QS Engineer:
• Review the contractors measurement analysis and check with the existing at site .
• Review and Process the contractors submitted interim statement and issue the payment certificates to the Owner.
• Review, study and negotiate with the contractor on the submitted variations, seek the owners concurrence then set an agreement with the contractor for the agreed cost values and time extension if any.
