Managing & coordinating procurement / logistics and transportation of POL supplies from the Local OMC's/ Cartage Contractors for National Fuels Corporation Afghanistan. Also maintaining & managing accounts with OMC's and tracking the transportation movements.
For the last five years in service at PSO Head Office, have worked as general manager heading various departments supervising the over all sales of the country in Automotive retail fuels, distributors POL products and lube & chemicals sales. Have also the headed the POL transportation Logistic department.
Presently i am working as Country Manager of National Fuels Corp. for Pakistan since 2010.
From 2000-05 served sa dy. general Manager Retail Automotive sales. From 2005-08 served as General manager Logistics & from July 08 to June 09: General Manager (Lubricants & Chemicals)
• Leading team of over 200 people responsible for procurement, supply chain management and sales/marketing/branding of PSO's lubricants to all customers (retail, industrial, power plants, aviation etc.)
• Successfully strengthened PSO's own brand lubricants market share from 10% to 26%.
Currently serving as Country manager National Fuels Corp. for Pakistan since July 2010 till date.
2005-08: General Manager (Logistics)
• Successfully catered to fluctuating requirements of petroleum products across and outside the country (Afghanistan)
• Facilitated marketing departments to attract new business (i.e. Afghan)
• Developed & groomed logistics team and successfully transformed attitude of over 500 carriage contractors/tank lorry owner, their associations & large number of tank l lorry drivers from unprofessional to customer-caring business partners.
• Upgraded over 1000 old-modeled tank Lorries to new vision tank trucks.
2002-05: Deputy General Manager, Retail Fuels
• Successfully led & groomed team of over 1000 people, 12 Divisions supervising 3800 Retail outlet across the county.
• Improved market share in HSD from 55% to 60% and in Mogas from 38 % to 45%.
• Developed & introduced various new sales promotion scheme/discounts etc.
2001-02: Deputy General Manager, New Vision, Retail Outlets
• Has honor to be part of team to initiate & introduced "New Vision Concept".
• Remodeled/developed over 1000 old-modeled-sites into new vision retail outlets (NVROs) on fast track basis to arrest declining market share.
1999-00: Area Manager, Multan Zone, Multan.
• Managed & supervised two divisions (Multan & Sahiwal) with over 50 people and over 700 retail outlets.
1996-99: Area Manager, (North Zone), Rawalpindi.
• Managed & supervised three divisions (Rawalpindi/ Islamabad & Abotabad, Jehlum) with over 50 people and over 500 retail outlets.
1994-95: Divisional Manager, LPG, Peshawar.
• Managed & supervised around 10 sales staff and improved LPG sales by over 50% in the division.
1993-94: Divisional Manager, Reseller, Peshawar/ Rawalpindi.
• Managed & supervised around 15 people and over 250 retail outlets & improved sales and achived "Best Divisional Manager Award of the Year".
1980-85: Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive, Reseller Trade, Peshawar.
∪ Supervised over 100 Retail Outlets and ensured that product received at & delivered from retail outlets was in right quality and quantity.
