Worked closely with the Enterprise Architecture department to provide technical architecture and design, for the new online banking solution for ENBD, the "Banknet" is the Emirates NBD online banking solution that offers quick and convenient way to manage banking accounts, online self-registration, online accounts openings, balance inquiries, accounts statement, cards statement, transfer funds, bill payments (DEWA, Du, Etisalat, RTA etc.) and standing order payments. Revamp project approximate budget is 8 Million USD.
Manage the vendor from the technical perspective and make sure that the deliverables meet the requirements in the terms of standards and quality with the expected time frame.
Work closely with the different Teams in the IT department the identify the integration points and perform gap analysis between the new other internal systems and the online banking solution such as Core banking system, CRM, FileNet, loans system, ATM …etc.
Worked closely with the business department identify and prioritize the requirements, functionalities and the features that are required to be in the on the new online banking solution through participating in writing the request for Proposal (RFP), Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and preparing a road-map for the project that is aligned with the bank IT Management Strategy in terms of budget and time-frame.
Designed and presented a deployment architecture with consideration to the high availability, clustering, security, performance, expandability and extensibility for the new online banking solution "Banknet" revamp project.
Managed and led Alrajhi Bank Direct Banking Systems from vendor side. Direct Banking solution is a J2EE based application that provides Internet and mobile banking allows the clients to perform most of the banking transactions anytime, anywhere, conveniently with high security measures, the technology stack that have been utilized included J2EE, BackBase Portal 4.0/5.0/5.4/5.6, AngularJS2, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Maven, jQuery, Alfresco, Tomcat, WebSphere, Jetty, Apache server and DB2. Direct Banking Systems project approximate budget is 10 Million USD.
Managed and led successfully the development team, which consist of 10 Java developers to increase the quality and productivity to meet the SLA's targets.
Worked closely with Alrajhi bank business department in gathering and documenting the requirements, writing the FSD and SRS, identify the scope and prepare the roadmap for the Direct Banking Systems and insure to provide clear timeframe project plan
Managed team of 5 Senior Java developers and increased the team performance and quality in view of the IT Strategy and the main company strategic goals. My team was responsible for developing, improving, integrating, supporting and deploying the en.safewatch Anti-Money Laundering solution. The solution is a J2EE Web based banking solution that automatically detects suspicious activity using rule-based and behavior-based logic. The solution technology stack included J2EE, Java, Richfaces, Primefaces, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, WebSphere, Oracle 10g and Microsoft SQL Server.
Successfully designed and built ETL Solution integrated with en.safewatch Anti-Money Laundering solution to automatically import data from client core banking system database to the solution database, the ETL tool manipulated data and filtered the data before importing it, based on configurations and criteria. it is also can be configured to work as scheduled jobs and batches. the ETL tool is live and currently used by multiple banks like Bank of Jordan and bank of Palestine.
Designed and Provided Technical Architecture for the Billz BSS/OSS platform, the platform consists of 3 applications Webcare, Webadmin and Selfcare which provide Mediation, Customer Care, Billing, Business and Operations Support solutions that are offered to telecom operators and service providers such as Mobile, Broadband, Interconnect and Content. Project approximate cost is 1.5 Million USD.
Successfully built and managed team of 8 Senior / Juniors Java developers to develop Billz BSS/OSS platform.
Provided technical consultancy services to one of the leading WIMAX telecom service providers, Mada Jordan. The technical consultancy included providing high availability network topology for deploying the Billz BSS/OSS applications.
Introduced and implement sprint based agile methodology, implementing the agile methodology included training, enforcing governance and installing the collaboration tools that serve the agile methodology such as JIRA, Confluence, SVN and Bamboo.
Participated in developing many features and functionalities for the core company product, the PS-ECC System, and executed many POC studies to select the proper technology stack to revamp the system with a focus on performance and quality. PS-ECC is a banking J2EE web based electronic image-based cheque clearing solution, designed to provide end-to-end nationwide clearing of cheques within the same day. PS-ECC provides the means to electronically transfer cheque images and completely replaces your traditional physical routines of moving paper cheques between the banks and clearing houses. Technology stack included J2EE, Java, JSF, RichFaces, Spring, Hibernate, WebSphere, Weblogic, Mysql and Oracle.
