established to manufacture fertilizers. It comprises of two ammonia and two urea processing plants. ammonia production
stands at 1, 310 / 2200 MTPD and urea 2350 / 3600 MTPD.
Urea De-bottleneck with Udhe Granulation and MHI CO2 recovery projects have been implemented for urea plant capacity enhancement to 2300 MTPD. A new Ammonia and urea plant commissioned in 2013 with Urea production capacity of 3500 MTPD.
Responsibilities
To work with production personnel and other departments to improve operating processes, reduce downtime, improve energy efficiency and troubleshoot day today problems.
Responsible for technical content of all process engineering, including process studies,
feasibility studies, process engineering support team.
To carryout HAZOP studies for plant modifications.
Yearly Budget preparation
To improve the present production processes to boost productivity, quality, and profitability for the company.
work in collaboration with the engineering department to better production equipment
functionality.
Reviw / Update Block Flow Diagrams (BFD) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
Review / Update Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
Process engineering calculations.

FFBL is state of the art manufacturing facility with advanced Distributed Control System for safe and efficient operation. Urea plant is Stamicarbon design with design capacity of 1670 met/ day.
Summary of Major Duties & Responsibilities
To initiate studies, conduct process audits and recommend plant modifications to improve
efficiency, productivity, safety, cost savings and technology updates.
To review the work performed by Consultants and to supervise the Front End Engineering
Design (FEED) / Detailed Engineering Contractors work.
To develop 'Statement of Requirements' for grass root as well as revamp projects.
Provides guidance in trouble shooting to the operators as required.
