- Responsible of network Operations in the Distribution Network (132/33/11/6.6)KV as per DEWA quality procedure.
- Coordination with distribution control Centre (DCC) due to emergencies and tripping in Dubai zone network.
- Responsible for the reliable performance of Distribution network cables and Overhead Lines.
- Restoration of supply as per Dubai target time (24 min per trip).
- Execution of operations in 132/33 KV, 132/11 KV, 33/11 KV 33/6.6 KV substations (ABB-TAMCO-Siemens-Reyrolle-Areva-GEC Alstom-Mitsubishi-Fuji-VEM).
- Commissioning of 132/11KV substations from operation point of view(Distribution side).
- Arrangement and execution of load shifting, system conversion, network modification from 6.6KV to 11KV.
- preparing of switching program as per require for executing the outages.
- Issuing the work permit for working parties.
- carrying out switching operations.
- coordination with project execution department PED, connection service CSD and maintenance department.
- Commissioning, operation of different types of RMU'S (ABB-Schneider- Lucy- Merlin Gerin-TAMCO-COL- Siemens- ELMEC-EFACEC-RM6) & oil circuit breaker (brush, bulk, minimum oil).
- Commissioning of Oil and Cast Resin transformers, PMT's, Auto Reclosers and LVDB's.
- Releasing and energizing circuits and feeders for commissioning, Installation and maintenance
I worked with Sudanese Electricity Distribution Company (SEDC) formerly National Electricity Corporation (NEC) as a senior distribution engineer in 33/11 kv substations(ABB-Schneider-Siemens-Vatech-Areva), and Installation, operation and maintenance of GIS RMU'S (ABB-Schneider- Lucy, ) & oil circuit breaker (brush, bulk)and transformers, Connect meggering units and maximum demand meters to transformers, and underground cables Manage teams for cable laying, excavation, checking leveling and trench measurement, Make terminations and joints, Detect the fault using DC insulation test and maintain it, and overhead lines with all its components, Pole-mounted transformers and LBS, planning and structuring for new lines and networks, Commissioning of networks which is done by contractors, Dispatch load grows and makes studies, Visiting clients & sites for Preparing estimation, and worked in distribution control center in Dispatch network by using SCADA system.
