Key Deliverables: Provide on-site Planning and Logistics support for Zodiac Aerospace service divisions through planning and management of material to support aircraft development and maintenance for the Commercial Airlines. This includes planning of ship set inventory pulls, managing Rotables Inventories, management of safety stock, forecasting of future material requirements, replacement of failures, and management of returns.
Planning: Inventory & Procurement:
The ability to manage high volumes of rotables efficiently through a complex repair supply chain process with various strategies. The ultimate task aims to maximize operational reliability while minimizing the financial risk and costs.
Responsible in planning and managing the Sub- component units that cannot be repaired by Zodiac repair workshop in-house which are mainly sub-contracted to original manufacturers or other, high quality airline workshops. It deals with repair, modification, overhaul and refurbishment of un-serviceable aircraft components. Its main objective is to get components back to a serviceable, airworthy condition in the most cost effective way, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Responsible in planning and managing Aircraft spare parts for sale, repair-maintenance and provide logistics support for Zodiac Aerospace companies globally and Commercial Airlines, in response to forecasts and consumption requires in Aircraft repair stations.
Host daily part status meetings with Zodiac Aerospace sites and publish daily equipment status reports; elevate when necessary.
Plan the safety stock levels needed to support observed variation in site quality and delivery performance using statistical analysis tools.
Ensure prevention of excess and obsolete inventory.
Identify opportunity to cut costs by removing slow moving SKU’s from several product portfolios and using common components on existing high runner products.
Monitor and verify data accuracy (i.e. orderable part numbers) within the ERP system and forecasting tools.
Plan and procure all material to support new product transitions.
Manage the sub-Contract Manufacturers with respect to product availability and performance against delivery commitments through monthly consolidated performance reports.
Communicate with engineering and suppliers to resolve part discrepancies.
Analyze Key Process Indicators to ensure compliance of service level goals and objectives.
Review the MRP reports, Quotations and place Purchase Orders.
Master Scheduler: Forecasting:
Forecast future material requirements to meet repairs and maintenance demand.
Maintained forecast items and loaded both project specific and strategic plans.
Loaded project specific Bills of Material to ensure accurate material requirements.
Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Inventory management:
Manage all inventory processes including Inspection, shipping and returns.
Maintain inventory record accuracy at 99% or above.
Manage all inventory related quality processes.
Perform cycle counts.
Participate in (EASA/FAA/GCAA) audits of the POU process.
Communicating with Shipping Lines, Airlines, Transporters, Warehouse, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Customs, and customer’s on schedules and allocating necessary resources to fulfill the projected requirements. Monitoring system activities and supporting the IT team on the needful updates. Analyzing trends to capitalize on future planning’s & monitoring export and import activities as per customer requirements.
Communication with International agents & Clients, Local & International Customers, Shipping Lines, Transporters, to strengthen client support.
Well acquainted with Import & Export Documentation.
Supervising the team in managing documentation, distribution & inventory managing activities of the warehouse.
Co-ordination with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Customs for smooth operation as & when required.
Keep abreast with import and export new regulations, notices from shipping lines and airlines in terms of advisories for rate increase, additional surcharges, new services and other important matters related to the business.
Handles Customer Service functions and activities in order to achieve and maintain high quality standards of customer support.
Hands-on-Experience on Warehouse Management System (WMS)
o Well acquainted with SCALE™: Supply Chain Architected for Logistics Execution from Manhattan Associates, UK
Liaising with client on problematic shipments discrepancies, claims, queries, suggestions for all inbound movement.
Coordinating with the transporters and ensuring that the vehicles are available for movement of goods without any delay.
Inter-Department Coordination, packaging, transporting & reconciling all incoming & outgoing products.
Spearheading continuous efforts to improve the process to meet the changing needs of the customers.
