• Manage Quality Assurance System for three factories under Entaj Alghad namely Tema producing Tahina, Halawa & Jam; Cortina producing Breakfast cream & Yoghurt and Nadiya Dates processing & packing Dates.
• Ensure that the products produced by company and facilities are in compliance with SASO, Regulatory bodies, International Standards and meet customer specification. Liaises with Government, Customer and Certifying Auditors.
• Managing ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certification for Tema and Cortina factories.
• Managing HALAL and VEGAN certification for Tema Products.
• Managing performance of Quality Team; Review performance; Train and suggest training needs; Reward and Retain high performance individuals with respect to company's approved HR policies.
• Specifying the standards for Raw Material and Finished products
• Manage resolutions / evolvements of quality problems of the suppliers / customers (internal & external) and directing corrective actions and reporting causes of non conformance. Assessing & evaluating the suppliers periodically.
• Responsible for confirming the nonconformity of any rejected raw materials, market returns, product recalls and determine the scope of recall and proper disposition of nonconforming material.
• Organizing & Leading Internal Food Safety Audit Program; Selecting personnel to perform internal audits; Reviewing the results of the audit; Ensuring that Corrective actions are understood & rectified and Reporting at Management Review meetings.
• Investigate and strategize against the customer quality complaints by involving all related departments.
• Ensuring that laboratory & quality assurance records are accurate, current & complete.
• Review monthly Quality Reports & Department performance with General Manager
