# Safeguard Oman LNG (OLNG) commercial interests, and ensure that its policies and procedures are being adhered to.
# Administrate contracts from initiation request to contract signing including preparation of contract strategy, tender plan, tender documents and commercial evaluation models.
# Handle request for quotations (RFQ’s), request for proposals (RFP’s) and invitation to tenders (ITT’s).
# Manage the tender process and all tender-related enquires or clarifications including prequalification requirements.
# Coordinate pre-tender meetings and site visits.
# Receive tender proposals and ensure confidentiality of submitted proposals.
# Make appropriate recommendations on contracts award.
# Finalise and prepare contract documents for signing.
# Provide solid feedback on completed tender processes.
# Ensure that all contracts files are maintained in accordance with OLNG procedures.
# Liaise and advise OLNG personnel on commercial and contractual matters including resolving disputes and handling of variation to contracts (VTC’s).
# Act as leave reliever for Secretary to OLNG Tender Board.
# Safeguard Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) commercial interests, and ensure that its policies and procedures are being adhered to.
# Provide post-contract quantity surveying services including advice on contractual and commercial awareness to PDO site supervisors.
# Conduct site measurements and audits to ensure that all works executed under PDO contracts are certified and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contracts.
# Prepare monthly cost reports comprising details of commercial aspects of the contracts, value of work done to date, value of actual payment made to the contractors, and a summary of the completed and on-progress work orders.
# Provide contractual correspondence on contractual and commercial issues and a day to day coordination with PDO contract representative.
# Negotiate and agree with the contractors on new items (star rates), which are not included in the original Schedule of Rates and/or alterations or variations to the terms and conditions under the existing contracts and formalised through preparation and issuance of variations to contract (VTC).
# Assist and advise PDO contract representative in resolving contractual claims and disputes within the company procedures.
# Provide suggestions on the improvement of the current and/or previous completed contracts for future tender preparations to avoid or minimise the existence of disputes with the contractors.
# Provide feedback on commercial performance of existing contracts.
# Prepare the Statement of Final Account upon completion of the contracts duration.
# Prepare interim certificates upon completion of milestones for Stand Alone (Lump sum) Contracts.
