JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Review and approval of the shop drawings submitted by the contractor.
• Design calculations, 3D modelling of complex reinforcement details
• Structural inspections for all the concrete and steel works to ensure the quality and standards of the projects are being delivered by the contractor.
• Review and approval of the shop drawings submitted by the contractor.
• Provide reports update to the projects design managers and project managers including clients when needed.
• Providing feedbacks and solutions for the RFI.
• Preparing and reporting NCR, CAR to the Resident Engineer and Project Director.
• Quantity surveying of all related civil works.
PROJECTS INVOVLED:
• AL JABER TWIN TOWERS - LUSAIL-QATAR.
o The project comprises of two buildings, with three basement levels, a ground level, one podium level and 21 floor office tower and 21 floor (five star) hotel tower. Twin Towers Project built up area is 10, 000 square metres with a total height of 208 metres. The works include site supervision for structural, civil, electro-mechanical and external works.
o Project value - QAR 450 million.
1. Structural integrity inspections and analysis of bridges, retaining walls, underground structures and buildings.
2. Structural analysis consultancy for engineering offices to assist them during pre and post contract stages in projects.
3. Structural survey and monitoring for infrastructures to update the architectural and structural drawings.
4. 3rd Party structural engineering assistance for owners.
5. Subsurface utility engineering.
6. Pavement management and engineering.
7. Leak detection and management.
8. Thermographic survey.
9. Data Analysis, interpretation & Report Generation.
10. Tender Submission & Project Management.
1. Structural calculation of facades, skylights & canopies.
2. Preparing BOQs and Tender documents
3. Familiar with Shucco, Technal and Gulf Extrusions aluminium systems.
4. Preparation and submission of shop drawings.
1. Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
2. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
3. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
