Presently I am working as a Assistant Risk & Insurance Manager at ATC Group of Companies - Head Office (Sri Lanka) of and responsible for discharging the following duties,
• Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization
• Risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organisation such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors, and evaluating the organisation's previous handling of risks
• Establishing and quantifying the organisation's 'risk appetite'
• Corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders
• Carrying out processes such as purchasing insurance, implementing health and safety measures and making business continuity plans to limit risks and prepare for if things go wrong
• Conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors
• Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation
• Coordinating with the insurance companies for quotations and claims with regard to our company businesses and assets.
• Handling the Entire group motor and Non Motor Fleet Insurance and also the staff Medical Insurance
Arpico Insurance Limited (from September 2012 to February 2013)
From September 2012 to February 2013 I worked as a Senior Field Sales Development Executive at Arpico Insurance Limited - Head Office (Sri Lanka) and responsible for discharging the following duties,
• Maintains or exceeds sales goals and closing, cross selling, and cancel ratios
• Provides life product quotes after analyzing the need analysis of the customer and
enrolls eligible customers
• Receives inbound calls from and/or makes outbound calls to individual clients,
promotes and sells Property and Casualty products individually and the team members
• Recruit New Team Members and train them for productive sales performance
• I was the Best Island wide sales Unit leader continues for the last 2 months
• Monitor team members sales daily for professional sales performance

From August 2010 I working as an Insurance Executive - Technical Department at Janashakthi Insurance PLC - Head Office (Sri Lanka) and was responsible for discharging the following duties, Maintains or exceeds sales goals and closing, cross selling, and cancel ratios.
• Processes changes to existing policies as needed and/or requested by policyholders and other interested parties.
• Completes applications, mandatory forms, and all other state specific documents.
• Explains complex policy and coverage information in simple terms to policyholders and other interested parties.
• Provides product quotes and enrolls eligible customers.
• Receives inbound calls from and/or makes outbound calls to individual clients, promotes and sells Property and Casualty products.

Arab Orient Insurance Company (from June 2008 to June 2010)
Since June 2008 I have been working as an Insurance Assistance in Arab Orient Insurance Company (Abu Dhabi Branch), a member of the Al Futtaim Group). I am responsible for discharging the following duties,
• Handling of Motor Claims in the branch
• Coordinating with workshops and agencies in preparing LPO’S and settling claims.
• Preparing Motor and Non- motor quotations direct clients, Insurance Brokers and for the Marketing department.
• Handling the entire Motor Fleet policies of ETISALAT
• Handling existing corporate clients which include Union National Bank, Arab Monetary Fund and the Embassy of Pakistan.
• Preparing monthly business reports in all classes of business on work flow and sales results to track activity and generate increased business.
• Preparing Insurance Tenders and submitting to the Client such as ADNOC, ADCO, ADWEA and Thaweelah Group.
• Handling of the motor business with Al Futtaim Motors & Trading Enterprise and attempting to increase the business in Motor Insurance
• Preparing Non - Motor Policies and dispatching them to the clients.
Amana Takaful Insurance Company - (Sept 2005 to Nov 2007)
Started my career with at Amana Takaful Insurance Company, Sri Lanka as an Insurance Assistant in September 2005. I was responsible for the following tasks relating to five Branches which were spread out in different regions.
• Handling of Motor Claims.
• Handling existing corporate Motor Clients
• Issuing, Underwriting, Renewing Motor Policies and Endorsements
• Handling direct customers in the front office.
• Trained personnel on Motor Underwriting
Successfully completed my Bachelor of Business Administration – (External) degree on November 2010 at the University of Colombo Of Sri Lanka.
Successfully completed my Higher National Diploma in Business Administration on November 2008 at The Open University of Sri Lanka.
