Duties/Responsibilities:
To look after Country CFS Operation. To be responsible for country operational excellence and commercial deliverable in line with global account management commitments to customers and country business plans. Provide leadership for CFS Operation Team to ensure continuity of adherence to SOP. Contribute extend assistances to Management to develop products and executions of country business plan.
Functional Activities:
• Ensure Operational Excellence, CFS Security Compliance ( GSV; C-TPAT; PIP ) & Other Ethical Compliance Like EBSA, RSA
• Drive Team to achieve each LOB’s established KPI while motivating focusing high morale
• Eliminate Potential Claim over non-compliance
• Developing New Products to support enhance customer development.
• Approach, influence relevant authorities to change review existing process to support customer needs.
• Innovative process & Productivity Improvements
• Work allocation in line with individual staff strength and nominate staff to upgrade knowledge to facilitate for day to day needs
• Establish Process and Ensure Execution
• Review vendors and recommend in line with company POM’s
• Frequent surveys, customer visit to ensure expectation in line agreements
• Conduct Vendor Education Program to facilitate on board new customers & upgrade knowledge
• Initiative to promote ACS brand amongst industry
• Contribute towards developments of ACS country presentations for customers.
• Manage the CFS warehouse operation supporting both the CNS and IFS Product lines
• Responsible to ensure that service levels at CFS warehouse operation meet or exceed set targets.
• To ensure the CFS teams full compliance to customers LP’s and exceeds targets set.
• Understand process and requirements in details and will maintain day to day CFS operations while maintaining warm working relationship with service provider, carrier, feeder operator, various depots and internal customer’s from customer service, service integrity and country management as well as direct customers.
• To handle all issues pertaining to CFS warehouse operation and will have to exchange clear and concise procedural instruction to operations team to adhere to.
• Responsible for educating operation staff, monitor and ensure that operational activities are executed without fail by the operations team to deliver the service as required by customer and as per APLL corporate, regional & local management’s guideline.
• Watchful and adept in technical know- how on customer software such as ACS123, BMS, etc and customized company software to run day to day operation.
Duties & Accountabilities:
• Manage CFS warehouse Operation KPI and develop improvements
• Organize and facilitate regular process review/meetings between APLL and service providers.
• Lead and guide CFS Assistant’s & Supervisors in new account implementation and new process rollout of existing accounts to ensure operational excellence
• Deployment of resources at CFS warehouse to ensure sufficient resources are allocated to manage changes in volume and increasing demands of customer requirements
• Leverage technology, resources, and establish programs to gather feedback and seek improvement opportunities from internal and external customers.
• Accurate and timely provision of pertinent information on port and depot operation changes and requirements to customers to facilitate planning and changes in operations and initiatives as required.
• Continuously identify service gaps, make recommendations and implement solutions to enhance greater customer satisfaction.
• Periodic gathering of data and feedback from vendors and customers on volume projections to prepare warehouse and team for potential surge in volumes and ensure sufficient resources deployed in areas that are impacted.
• Review training needs for teams, select and enroll individuals or teams in training programs that will help enhance overall professionalism, performance of company to meet changing expectations of customers.
• Together with other functional managers, establish a monitoring tool and measurements of APLL operations processes with focus on key process indicators.
• Ensure high team spirit and generally good morale of team members. Coach and guide non-performing staff and establish reward and recognition to excellent performers.

*Communicate with store staff on processing inventory to the selling floor and storage areas
* Ensure customer service standards are met by providing efficiency of shipped and received merchandise
* Responsible for supervising staff during peak working hours
* Prepare and maintain records of received and shipped materials of shipping department
* Create an organized and efficient backroom area to promote safe and clean working environment
