Abstract:
The eGate & Smart gate is an automated, secure and convenient self-service alternative to the conventional border control process through immigration officers. The Emirati-built smart gate identifies users through their passports or Emirates ID cards or E-Gate cards and finger scanning. It uses facial and eye-recognition technology (Irises) to identify and verify the user. Once the checks are made with the Department of Naturalization and Residency Dubai (DNRD) about the authentication of the visa details of the passenger and also verifying at the Abu Dhabi police department for to check the business rule validations like, the passenger is in black list / ban list / wanted list based on the given Irises. Depending on the severity of the business rules and the decision of the immigration officers, the gate opens automatically for travellers to pass through to baggage reclaim areas.

2: Aaber

Role : Quality Assurance Analyst.

The Immigration procedures will be simplified at the Hatta crossing border between Oman and Dubai. It will make entry and exit easy at the Oman-UAE border. This new immigration system is being implemented by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) of Dubai. Aaber card holders will be able to cross borders without having to come out of their vehicles.

Responsibility for the above 2 projects:
• Active contribution in understanding the business logic and involved in the walkthroughs to fulfill the functional gaps and sharing it with the stakeholders.
• Identifying & addressing the impact analysis and estimating the efforts for the tasks.
• Designed the scenarios, cases, and test data, test suites (manual & automation) for to execute on the build.
• Validating the application behavior by executing the automation scripts with the corresponding automation test data on every build to simplify the retesting & regression testing.
• Develop and prepare Test summary report, Test Plan, Requirement traceability matrix, Weekly Status report, Daily Status report, estimating work and monitoring progress against milestones.
• Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality.
• Extensive level of database testing on Oracle DB by using SQL queries, for to configure the DB data, to transfer the data between the schemas, to verify the data insertion in the corresponding tables based upon the scenarios and the transactions that performed at the portal end.
• Performed Functional & System level, Integration, Database testing, Integration with Hardware devices, testing on the simulators and also the same at on-site for to fulfill the real-time behavior of application.
• Conducting the defect reviews, functional reviews with stakeholders and UAT with operations team / client.

Responsibility:
 Prepare detailed Estimation and Resource Utilization Plans for every patch release.
 Analyze the progress of work and risks involved if any to ensure the project meets the deadline.
 Arrange and participate in Status Meetings with L3, Development, Project Management teams to discuss the critical issues and project progress.
 Report on progress made against schedule to Lead/Manager.
 Execute test plans/tasks to QA Department schedules. Ability to identify the root of an issue, i.e.: is the issue a UI or API bug. Review product documentation for assigned features ensuring high quality, clear, concise documentation is shipped.
 Participate in Design Reviews and early design discussions
