Safety must be present in every aspect of operations Provide SH&E guidance and support to the entire AMMROC facilities and sites as requested by the SH&E Supervisor.

Help the SH&E Supervisor maintain programs and plans to ensure AMMROC's compliance with all applicable SH&E regulations.

In partnership with the Operations department, investigate all accidents and incidents. Develop corrective action and preventive actions and follow them through to completion.
Help the SH&E supervisor develop and maintain emergency preparedness plan for AMMROC that incorporates OSHAD requirements, and national and local fire protection codes.
Ensure the tasks of chemical/waste handling (HazMat), air monitoring, and recordkeeping are conducted.

Responsibilities
Acting senior safety manager in absence of senior safety manager
Review all contract documents related to the Project safety related issues
Reviews contractor’s safety program along with a description of the hazard’s applicable to their work assignment and the firm's nominees for the safety officer positions
Approval/Disapproval of the nominees for safety positions with the contractor
Organize and chair project health and Safety meetings
Monitors the construction management safety related staff actions and reports to the project manager on safety related issues
Aid managers and field personal on safety matters
Organize and conduct safety training as necessary
Conduct Health and safety audit on contractors
Conduct Health and Safety project assessment
Prepare performance report (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
