Roles and Responsibility
Supervision of marine works involving construction of rubble mound
breakwaters measuring a length of 712 m length and reclamation along
shoreline followed by construction of 400 m long mass concrete quay wall
block to a founding level varying from -5.0 to -12.0mt ACD for berthing of
Fast ferry terminal, Fishery and Coast guard vessels and 24mx3m steel
mooring pontoons for fishery and a perched beach for hovercraft/landing
craft and associated works including quay furniture, service/utility
trenches.
Supervision of placing and casting of precast unreinforced concrete armour
units “core-loc” Block- BY CLI and inspection of lying of Geotextile-TS-80
Monitoring the progress and quality of all the works associated with
Marine -Harbour construction as per the requirement of specification and
approved method statements
Preparing weekly / monthly progress report and Minutes of meeting and
addressing and giving solution for the technical queries raised by the
contractor at site
Coordinating with Inspectors and Marine surveyor and attending their
queries
Attending client meetings and providing solutions to the technical query up
to the satisfaction and confidence of owner .Coordinating with Resident
engineer and quantity surveyor for certifying contractor monthly running
bill payments and their certification
AssistResident / Project Manager in dealing with contractual issues and
providing technical inputs accordingly
