UNITED KINGDOM MINISTRY OF DEFENCE TEAM TO THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA (FROM 1995 - PRESENT)

The United Kingdom Ministry of Defence Team is responsible for monitoring the performance of the Prime Contractor (BAE Systems) in completing the Al Yamamah Project. The project is for the supply of Defence equipment, training and infrastructure to the Saudi Arabian Government and is the world’s largest single Defence export contract.
PROGRAMME FUNDING SUPPORT (From 2001 to till now)
The programme funding section is responsible for submitting correctly validated and verified invoices to the Saudi Arabian Government.
• Effective administrative and secretarial support to a five commercial experts, using the MS Office 2003 suite of software and modern office machinery
• Responsible for producing the monthly expenditure summary reports.
• Typing, Electronic filing, Scanning documents, distribution of trace letters with in Kingdom and UK.
• Verifying for accuracy high value invoices before submission to the Saudi Arabian Government, liasing with BAE Systems and other parts of the UK Ministry of Defence team required
• Assisting in validating Prime Contractor manpower levels.
• Acting as liaison for maintenance within Programme Funding Section including Office Machinery and provision of office stationary.
ADMIN ASSISTANT (Budget Office) (From 1998 - 2000)
The Budget Office for the team is responsible for the settlement for all locally procured support services and for the setting, and monitoring of short and long term budgets.
