• To set-up and manage financial accounting, management accounting, treasury, taxation, information technology and internal control.
• To manage and oversee the back office function of the company (Human Resource, Administration, Procurement and Logistics)
• To manage and oversee the recruiting of new personnel for the company including documents and visa requirements.
• To prepare annual corporate budget.
• To manage the Treasury function and cash flow management.
• To ensure corporate and project budget are monitored and controlled on regular basis.
• To ensure timely local statutory audited accounts reporting requirement compliance.
• To manage credit control functions.
• Monthly management reporting to HQ-KL for various consolidation reporting & management control purposes.
• To liaise closely with local Auditors’, Governmental Authorities (JAFZA and Dubai Trade Authority) and Legal Counsel
• To closely work with local or international banks on the financing and trade needs.
-Responsible for the management of financial and accounting functions
-Leading and managing a group of 5 personnel in the finance team
-In charge of financial management control of major Sales & Delivery projects
-Responsible for end-to-end project financial management, including project planning & budgeting, project implementation & control, and report & analysis of projects
Manage Group reporting for all and overseeing Finance and Accounting, Human resource and Administration
Assist with the group business strategic plan, key business projects & to lead and develop the current financial team. (Projects worth RM100m which includes the Project “Pilot for the Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting Infrastructure for the Government of Malaysia”)
Overseeing the preparation and analysis of all management and financial accounts as well as reporting to senior management including business planning, financial forecasting & budgeting, financial reviews, target setting, variance analysis, cash flow planning and reporting of revenues, expenses and headcount for group.
Ensuring that reporting meets the statutory accounting standards and management reporting requirements.
Driving and building continuous improvement in finance and the wider business.
Support the senior management in their decision making to run the business and achieve the growth plan in place for the next few years.
Production of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts to strict timescales.
Restructure loans and banking facilities of the group to maximize utilization and minimize financing cost.
Liaison with external auditors, company secretarial, tax agent, legal advisor, bank officer on the related matters.
Ad-hoc assignment.

Extensive Research on Technology and Telecom Sector
Attending Company visits and writing reports for investment decision
Presentation to clients, prospects and investors etc
Interviews with Bloomberg TV, Financial Newspapers and magazines
Attending or presenting in seminars, conference etc
Preparation of Tax Computations and Tax Returns for submission to Inland Revenue
Attending to notices of tax assessments
Liaison with tax authorities and clients on various tax matters
General administration i.e. billing, filling of document, drafting correspondence etc.
