Logistics and inventory Controller
Incharge of four Main Departments: 1. Clearance 2. Warehousing 3. Transportation 4.Security
Incharge of all Administration Matters and all Procurement Processes
Supervising and Managing FG, RM, PAK, Warehouses and Distribution
Main work activities include:
*Managing & Directing Raw, Packaging, Finished goods warehouse, Distribution of goods & Procurements Requests
*Conducting timely meeting with Supply Chain Director to discuss new policies related to warehouses
*Producing regular warehouses reports and statistics on daily, weekly and monthly basis
*Producing reports related to distribution activities
*Developing & implementing of all security and safety systems control procedures for warehouse operations
*Coordinating with concerned departments on a daily basis to ensure the effectiveness of warehouses and distributions operations
*Planning, directing, and maintaining efficient warehousing and distribution operations inspect and evaluate work performance of department personnel
*Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
*planning future capacity requirement for the companies warehouses
*Briefing warehouse keepers on a daily basis
*Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
*Specifying manpower requirements according to the applied requirement and selection and manpower planning practices
*Carrying out performance appraisals for subordinates according to the planned schedules and recommending the necessary as per applied practices
*Following up on employees administrative affairs
HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION, PROCUREMENT& QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT
Main work activities of administration and procurement include:
*Managing and control on all of office services, like stationery, printing materials and journals etc.,
* Controlling the monthly expenses of consumables, telephones, electricity and water bills
* Supervision and control on telecommunication and transportation.
* Supervision on all services of public utilities like offices, building, contracts, insurance, security
and safety, cleaning, and maintenance.
* Supervision and control on personnel custody, fixed assets, and inventory.
Main work activities Procurement include:
* Full controlling on purchasing process.
• *Identifying needs and potential suppliers, soliciting bids, reviewing bids and selecting suppliers
• * Negotiating and awarding contracts.
• *Accepting delivery of products and inspecting the products.
• * Paying suppliers and maintaining vendor relationships.
• * Identifying potential cost savings, developing and overseeing budget.
• *Ensuring compliance with rules and regulations and overseeing procurement
Main work activities of quality assurance include:
* Establish the terms, policies and quality procedures and explained to the staff and employees of the company and train them and motivate them to work with.
* Conduct surveillance and internal audit of all departments, divisions and company projects to ensure application of these procedures.
* Work to improve and develop quality procedures and models currently in place in the company are not inconsistent with the overall objective, laws and regulations.
* Issue regulations and instructions concerning the application of these procedures and follow up their implementation.
* Participate in the evaluation of the performance of staff and workers in all departments through their implementation of quality standards.
3- From 1999 till 2009 worked as Central Warehouse Manager (Logistic Department Manager) with a big company in Saudi Arabia dealing with electronics and the sole agent of a big Japanese company (Panasonic).
Main work activities include:
• liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies;
• planning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders;
• overseeing stock control and processing orders;
• ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met;
• coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems;
• responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax and telephone;
• keeping stock control systems up to date;
• planning future capacity requirements;
• organizing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress;
• motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met;
2- From 1993 till 1999 worked as a Warehouse Manager with a big industrial firm in Jordan manufacturing Perfumes, Detergents, Cosmetics, etc. (Collgate, Palmolive) and also manufacturing Potato chips (Mr. Chips) Mutheib Haddad.
Main work activities include:
. Managing the Raw material, Packaging, and Finished Goods Warehouses
. Managing the distribution of Finished Goods for local market, civil and military establishments and Export.
. Day to day supervision of warehouse staff.
. Planning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders
. Managing the distribution of goods to all branches, and showrooms.
. Keeping stock control systems up to date
. Producing regular stock reports.
1- From 1989 till 1992 worked as a Warehouse Manager with a big company in Saudi Arabia Riyadh dealing with office equipments, machines, stationery, furniture and engineering equipments (Almaktaba Stores).
Main work activities include:
. Day to day supervision of warehouse staff.
. Planning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders
. Managing the distribution of goods to all branches, and showrooms.
. Keeping stock control systems up to date
. Producing regular stock reports.
