• Overall responsible for completion of electrical design on time for the assigned 132/11KV substations.
• Responsible to generate BOQ and submitting the same to procurement department to float enquiry.
• Technical assistance for finalization of vendors.
• Responsible for reviewing the electrical design drawings/documents which is submitted by equipment manufactures and obtaining approval from client / authority on time.
• Responsible for preparing in-house design layout with allocated man power and obtaining approval from client / authority for the same which includes over-all equipment layouts, cable tray layout, earthing layout, cable routing layout, transformer installation layouts.
• Updating the overall electrical design status to Client / Consultant in the weekly review meeting.
• Witnessing the local Factory Acceptance Test for LV/MV equipments.
• Reviewing the FAT reports of GIS/Transformers/AIS etc. and obtaining dispatch clearance from client / authority.
• Preparation of main protection block diagrams based on substation and existing station/ specification requirements.
• Soil resistivity measurement and design the main earth grid using CYME software.
• Preparation of auxiliary earthing layout for indoor substation & Lightning protection layouts.
• LV cable sizing calculation as per IEEE 17th edition.
• Reviewing of switchgear drawings (upto 132KV level) received from Vendor and obtain approval from client / authority.
• Power Transformer and Earthing Transformer - reviewing Vendor documents/drawings
• Lighting Design using RELUX software & Lighting and small power layout preparation.
• 132kV/11kV / LV switchgear Scheme/SLD/GA review.
• Control Cable Schedule and Termination Schedule upto 132kV level.
• CT/VT sizing calculation
• Documentation of engineering drawings/contractual correspondence.
• Preparing documentation for client approval.
• Assisting the senior engineer in the aspect of technical document review.
• Reviewing the basic technical document like Low voltage SLD/Cable.
• Preparing BOQ for Low voltage equipments.
• Following up with vendor for design drawings and obtain approval from client for the same.
• Paper entitled “Solenoid Actuated Bike Engine” at Indian Institute Of Technology Madras, Chennai. • Won second prize in ROBOTICS Race & War in Sai Ram Engineering College. • Won second prize for paper presentation in Vahana2012 (a national level technical symposium) at Hindustan University. • Won first prize in Aero Modeling in Orion, 2011 in B.S.A.Crescent Engineering College.
