Job description:
• Responsible for both Front-End and Back-End development, to produce effective responsive websites or applications.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates
through coaching and mentorship.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users (UX/UI); studying systems (application) flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain high standards of software quality
within the team by establishing good practices
and habits.
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation according to the functional requirements, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Manage Virtual Servers (Windows and UNIX)
• Manage Domain names and Cloud hostings and applications
• Administer Canto Cumulus
• Maintaining software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance.
• Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
• Provide technical support during conferences
• Deploy the registration system during conferences
• Integration of 3rd parties services such as
E-Payments and SMS Gateways.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Analyze, design, diagnose, test, debug and resolve errors related to applications across multiple platforms and devices, including smartphones and tablets.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Topics Covered:
PSTN network including the switching technology and process, the customer closed loop, the main distribution frame, the signaling system between exchanges, the PCM implementation and the digital transmission systems PDH & SDH.
Project executed:
SDH transmission system regarding the Lebanese Territory. This included a detailed geographical study and how all the facilities should be connected via the SDH rings using Fiber Optics cables.
