- Responsible for the preparation of the annual budget and monthly re-forecasts of A&C (Aggregates and Concrete ) and LMEA. (Lafarge Middle East and Africa) Also responsible for collecting the raw data from other departments (Accounting, operations, commercial etc..) to prepare the major group required reports that should be in line with group standards and definitions.
-Providing top management (G.M) & manufacturing directors by most of data related to inventory department to reconcile it with sites manager’s figures
-Matching P&L, B.S and cash flow figures with budget & latest re-forecast figures
-Prepare internal capex report with top management to follow up movement and remaining amount of capex expenditures.
-Cost controlling.
-Monthly Reporting and analysis for the group and A&C \ LMEA
My role includes the following responsibilities:
•Review all reconciliation and analysis that are issued from the Inventory and costing department.
•Communicate the required reporting schedules.
•Prepare monthly Manufacture Usage Variance (MUV) Analysis and review it with Ops team.
•Conduct monthly Manufacture Over Head (MOH) analysis and provide a complete cause of change.
•Complete monthly Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis and a year to date analysis.
•A monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis and break down into Raw and pack materials, and MOH
•Provide YTD analysis for RM, PM and FG movement for both businesses beverages (Pepsi Cola) and Snacks (Chipsy for Food Industries).
•Responsible for updating all Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM) & Finished Goods (FG) Standard prices through preparing the material prices, upload it to SAP and executing of the Standard process.
•Checking and reviewing the actualization process results, and providing P&L accounts analysis.
•Building and preparing RM, PM and FG reserves, entries and preparing Reserve Movement Analysis.
•Revising creation of new RM, PM, FG and Spare parts.
•Reviewing and checking the creation of any new Bill Of Materials (BOM) or updating any active BOM
•Prepare and check FG movement to eliminate the markup between PCE (Pepsi Cola Egypt) and PBI (Pepsi Bugshan International) and any other inter-company transaction.
•Ensure COSO (SOX) controls are testing in the agreed frequency & Ensure of at least implemented maturity Level for all Global Control Standards assessments.
•In charge of controlling all costs related to Catering Services for a 70 Land Rig and 4 Off-Shores.
•Confirming that Catering services were rendered in compliance with the contract.
•Reviewing and controlling all costs related to the inspection and the maintenance of the Rigs.
•Matching all the inspection and maintenance invoice to the created PO.
•Confirming all car maintenance services and costs match the issued PO.
