Responsible for NEMO Network:
- NOC equipment and tools design negotiation with vendors to fulfill STC contractual deliverables.
- Design and implement different NEMO NOC tools integration with STC existing tools.
- Manage NOC contractor to implement the NOC tools and equipment as per the design within the committed time to MOI.
- Participate in NOC handover between NOC implementer and NOC operator to ensure efficient
handover.
- Participate in the site handover between implementation and NOC operator to ensure efficient handover.
- Manage NEMO NOC Operator to achieve STC delivery for the full contractual commitments.
- Manage NEMO NOC Operator to avoid SLA violation and Penalties.
- Manage the NOC reporting with MOI and internal entities to deliver STC commitments with fully automated tools capability.
- Create and audit processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations and avoid penalties.
- Manage technical support services contracts with vendors CISCO, SUN, CYGNET, BARCO, ORACLE and APC for technical support.
- Review, Approve and Audit MDTs and FSCs for any new change.
- Audit network performance including latency, jitter and packet loss and take corrective measures to improve performance indices.
- Troubleshoot any SLA violation problem escalated from NOC operator.
- Improve customer satisfaction by improving quality of service, responsiveness and dependability.
- Manage proper documentation for all NOC related items (NOC Design Documents, Contractual
Documents and Reports).
Responsible for Vodafone backbone network (CPN) and data communication system (DCS):
- Technical leader for DataCom sub-team.
- Assign and evaluate tasks and projects to team members.
- Evaluate and monitor vendor (Cisco, Ericsson and Juniper) performance according to the SLA.
- Support team members in any escalated case or emergency as a technical reference.
- Handle all the external communication and preparation for any new project with other teams.
- Prepare all the technical training for my team members.
- Create periodic reports with all the activities done, coming and network performance.
- Implement and operate Vodafone-Egypt backbone MPLS network (CPN), which carry all the live traffic (Voice, Signaling, GPRS, VAS, and Prepaid).
- Participate in vendor selection process for any new support service.
- Participate in vendor selection process for network monitoring systems.
- Participate in Mega project to migrate all the Vodafone traffic (VOIP, SIGTRAN, etc...) from
IOS based Cisco routers to GSR XR-IOS based routers.

- Enhance network security by making schedule security auditing on our node.
- Responsible for maintenance contracts with associated vendors to escalate problems and apply new updates.
- Participate in implementing the new solutions with Engineering Department.
Responsible for Vodafone backbone network, GPRS backbone network (MPBN) and data communication system (DCS):
- Implementing any changes on core and services equipment.
- Troubleshoot any customer problems.
- Healthy check and performance monitoring to all of core and services equipments.
- Implement and maintain core nodes
- Troubleshoot any physical or hardware problems regarding core nodes
- Test new equipment.
- Troubleshoot Frame relay or ATM customer’s problems.
- Configure PVCs and connections for new customers.
- Monitor physical and logical statistics for customer Connections.
