• Manage inventory control & replenishment, shipping & clearance as well as quality for BRF Kuwait.
• Manage the entire value chain and product flow from Brazil factories to trade distributions while monitoring inventory levels and stocks in the pipeline.
• Define stock cover days based on ABC methodology taking into consideration various demand & supply parameters.
• Manage the national inventory across distribution centers maximizing stock level per SKU as well as inventory mix to better serve sales demand (saved around USD 32, 000).
• Managed to save around USD 48, 000 of local demurrages charges during Covid-19 period by negotiating for extra free days from the shipping lines.
• Optimize the utilization of storage capacities, saved around USD 45, 000 per year.
• Develop yearly expenses budget and ensure to adhere to budget plans.
• Identify bottlenecks in the planning/ordering processes, finding and proposing innovative solutions to correct them through benchmark practices in the market, aiming to continuously improve the process.
• Encourage and train the team in developing their skills, introduce new area and challenges for improvement.
• Perform proactive stock management with what-if scenarios to drive optimum replenishment strategy for inbound goods as well as the movement between the sites; port to warehouse to ensure product availability.
• Continuously looking for areas of improvement ensuring opportunities are captured and maximized resulting in continual enhancement of the entire supply chain.
• Supervise the team to close monitor the expiry dates of the products with enhanced color band methodology and lead near expiry stock depletion process with commercial team.
• Work closely with business development team to improve sales FCST accuracy.
• Measure availability adherence per SKU, define the reasons of OOS, and take corrective and preventive actions to avoid it in the future.
• Route analysis for the shipments to determine the shortest & longest transit time and recommend the best route for loading based on the stock position per SKU.
Managing Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Material Call Off.
Coordinate with procurement team to resolve purchase order problems to optimize on-time delivery.
Manage phase in/phase out of packing materials to minimize risk of obsolete stock.
Develop and implement the annual MPS and MRP to meet/achieve the annual budget.
Calculate capacity loads, bottlenecks, and material availability, to advise management of supply chain
constraints, and develop appropriate capabilities to ensure delivery targets are achieved.
Manage the export orders from the production planning, material planning perspectives and calculate
the trucks and containers capacities.
Manage and maintain stocking policies for raw/packing materials, and finished goods inventory levels
to meet business targets for inventory and service delivery.
Maintain optimum inventory levels to maximize stock availability at stores through an efficient
replenishment planning system.
Proactively forecast projected expiry, mitigate risks of expiry by planning inter country transfers of
excess stocks and trigger alerts to brand teams on plans to reduce write offs.
Design, generate and analyze reports that track key supply chain KPIs such as availability, expiry,
inventory levels and supplier fill rates.
Successfully managed and delivered several new store openings, new brand entry and new market
expansions. Participated in project teams to deliver tasks critical to a successful launch such as ensure
master data maintenance, estimate new store sales and cannibalization, forecast generation, purchase
order generation, follow up on clearance and delivery and create in store availability trackers for post
