 Reviewing and responding to the RFI and arranging meetings/workshop with contractors for resolving of issues
regarding the project.
 Reviewing of the shop drawings from the different trade sub-contractors for approval and implementation on site.
 Carry out Site inspection raised by the contractor for reviewing, commenting and approving as per the site conditions
 Inspection of the site on regular basis for checking the implementation of shop drawings and maintaining the quality

PROJECT ARCHITECT at ORGANISING COMMITTEE COMMONWEALTH GAMES DELHI2010

Roles and Responsibilities
POSITION HELD - PROJECT ARCHITECT AND SITE MANAGER
JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU ATHLETICS STADIUM, NEW DELHI.
 I was primarily involved in all phases of the overlay and operational design of the Commonwealth Games Stadium for its use during the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games for the Athletics as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. The operational design involved planning for all phases and sectors of the Games, including Sports facilities, accreditation zones and signage for the Stadium, the Common Domain and all the major traffic nodes around the Jawahar Lal Nehru complex.
 As the Project Architect monitoring the progress of works at the Venue on behalf of the Organising Committee ensuring the works to the Venue were completed on schedule.
 I was in turn the Site Manager for the Stadium and Common Domain liaising with Government Authorities, Building Contractors and all the functional area representatives.
 The existing stadium underwent extensive refurbishment to meet the needs of the IOC and the International Athletic Federation including the laying of a new track, the addition of a new roof and other external facilities and structures to accommodate the operational needs for the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and Para Games.
 Involved in all phases of the overlay and operational design of the Temporary Venues of Road Events it’s use during the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games. The operational design involved planning for all phases and sectors of the Games, including Sports facilities, accreditation zones and signage for the Venue, the Common Domain and all the major traffic nodes around the Venue and surrounding areas.
