Responsible for managing a portfolio of overseas key accounts, and for delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs. Also In charge of managing projects for overseas automotive component buyers (FUJI AUTOECH, DOUGLAS AUTOTECH, ZFLS NACAM, ZF Brazil, NSK US, TRW Gmb, NFP BRAZIL, etc.). Managing/Monitoring Supply Chains for NPD and Serial Productions, Managing Export Benefits and Cost Optimising / Saving Procedures for all customers, keeping a track of competition through various data sources to have an adequate intelligence over the markets.
Duties:
• Accomplishing effective business communications with Tier-1, Tier -2 and OEMs on global platform, Responding RFQs (Request for Quotes) with the discussion/feedback for feasibility and capability assessments within departments, preparing costs (quotations) and making an optimum offer for the buyers. (Majorly - USA, Sweden, Brazil, France, Australia, Germany). Using PLM to keep a track of Facts and Figures.
• Market Research and Analysis, thereby providing viable buying options to gain advantage over the competition.
• Monitoring project risks and scope creep to identify potential problems and proactively identifying solutions to address them in advance. Escalating promptly any issues that may impact operations.
• Producing Stage Plans, highlight reports, risk logs, requests for change etc.
• Providing/Proposing strategic direction during the implementation stages, acting on customer feedback.
• Managing client expectations by ensuring the delivery of the highest quality service.
• Visiting overseas customers periodically to understand and retain the business sentiments.
• Monitoring Staff & Team Performance.
• Managing Credit and Products risks, with the help of suitable credit and product liability insurances.
• Managing Pre- Post Export benefits Focus Product, Status Holder, Special Focus, Focus Market schemes etc.
• Organising and Attending Trade and Promotional Events Within India and Overseas (Organised promotional events like Auto Show - India, Automechanika - India/Germany, India Commercial Vehicle Summits, Concept, Steer by Wire - Germany etc.)
• Deciding/Recommending and monitoring optimum logistic requirements to support the supply chains (Well versed with Cross Docking, Buyer Consolidations, Consignment Inventory etc. Models).
