This part of job was in head office and related to Letter of credit operational activities.
1. Prepare LC application after receiving Performa invoice or Purchase order from purchase department
2. Send this prepared LC draft to supplier for approval.
3. Final approved LC being sent to Bank for opening purpose where credit limits and margin amount is available.
4. Bank sends us Swift copy of this LC after two or three days.
5. This swift copy also sends to the supplier as well.
6. Managing amendments regarding issued LC with bank and client.
7. Booked all relevant entries regarding opened LC draft such as bank charges, margin amount, accrued purchasing etc
8. Receiving “Document advice “
9. In Case of any discrepancies’, get approval from the higher authorities.
10. Apply for loan/Mohrabah on the basis of document advice.
11. Monitoring margin availability from the panel of banks before submitting the LC draft to bank.
12. Recording All POs’ into the system
13. Make debit note and credit notes
14. Prepare payments for local vendors
15. Reconciliation of “Statement of accounts.
16. Calculating Landing cost before recording every PO.
