Responsible for expanding company portfolio by adding Electrical & Automation dept.
The role involves identifying and signing new agency/ partnership agreements followed by developing business plans for growth in Saudi O&G market
As responsible for managing O&G and Utilities account for Honeywell Field instruments I:
Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs
Act as focal point of contact for customers while leading internal sales team and vendor
Develop and track projects opportunities leading to orders
Maintain healthy opportunities pipeline corresponding to business targets
Collaborate with Honeywell sales team for joint sales pursuits and sales strategy
Gauge expectations and ensure client needs are addressed on regular basis
Prepare forecasts for upcoming business
Perform lost proposal analysis, identify potential cause, and recommending future actions in cooperation with internal and Honeywell team for better results in future
Support in resolution of operational issues/colelctions/conflicts with customers
Ensure timely delivery and payment receipt by close coordination with internal operations team
Analyze competitor movement and offering through general/public market information and information provided by the Sales organization
Sales:
• Leading the sales process for eastern and central KSA territory from lead generation till project award and handover to engineering team
• Driving proposals team to design most competitive solutions considering KSA market and customer requirements
• Conducting customer visit/site surveys to understand issues, presenting solutions after internal discussions with projects team and fine tuning proposals accordingly
• Maintained a continued alignment with OEMs (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell and HIMA) joint sales pursuits
• Close communication and follow up with contractors/OEMs/main accounts thru out the project cycle
• Acting as the key focal point for communication between customer, OEM and design team
• Gathering market competition information to help execution of sales strategies for winning projects
Business development:
• Established and maintained good relationship with the customers in the area
• Carried out prequalification activities and got the company prequalified for strategic projects in KSA
• Tracked long term opportunities starting from EPC tendering till award of automation scope
• Built relationship and strategic alliances with OEMs and project partners to stronger market positioning
• Presented technical solutions to clients
• Focusing medium and large sized automation projects
• Develop, regularly update and maintain projects pipeline.
• Drive new business opportunities, comprehend the individual verticals dynamics
