Roles & Responsibilities:
− Managing and leading country based procurement. Responsible to support business processes by providing seamless and cost efficient supplies in the areas of Raw Materials, USD 21.6m, (Dairy, Grains & Oils, Sweeteners, Food Additives, Flavors & Cocoa) Pack Materials, USD 9.6m, (Corrugated, Printed Cartons and Flexibles) and Indirect Material & Services, USD 5.3m, (MRO, FM, IS & Professional Services).
− Develop strategies, set objectives, delegating tasks, coaching and mentoring the junior buyer to ensure efficient succession planning.
− Ensure RMAT & PMAT material coverage by coordinating closely with planning team and regional spend leads. Covering risk through contracts and developing contingency plans.
− Develop action plans and lead productivity projects in co-operation with other departments and Regional Procurement Tower leads. Ensuring the ambition of reducing operations costs is met. Regularly monitor and monthly reporting of all productivity projects in the agreed format.
− Responsible for managing costing and budgeting cycle of raw and packaging materials on quarterly basis, and liaise with ISC controlling team to finalize budget in regional format, while targeting to keep negative price variance.
− Ensure regular tracking and reporting of KPIs (WAPT, DIOH, PO Automation & PO TAT) of procurement target versus actual
− Oversee and liaise with full coordination with internal & external stakeholders and take measures to ensure excellent and proactive relationships are maintained.
− Lead and ensure roll out plan of 100% PO project which entails every money spend in the country is regulated through PO/Contract and direct posting is completely eliminated.
− Proactive participation in DMS (Daily Management System) meeting comprising of Plant Manager and all Department Heads to update on tasks assigned to Procurement and providing apt solutions.
− Close coordination with Off-Shore Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment accuracy as per agreed payment terms and conditions.
− Lead and coordinate with VmaaS team (Vendor Master Shared Service) for vendor master creation and maintenance.
− Key user for SAP testing of BIC, Bahrain (Green Field Project) and Subject Matter Expert for Coupa implementation & Procurement Off-Shore project.

− Delivered productivity of USD 1.5mm by negotiating best prices and harmonization projects.
