• Planning and scheduling field service visit's on site with respect to support customer at site with fully integrated diagnose systems and advance tools. Also, arranged commissioning of newly sold machine's at customer site to train the staff and operator at the time of first startup of machine.
• Corresponding with all vendors in context of after sales service activities especially for technical queries, warranty claims, new machine registration and product improvement program / campaign.
• Provide technical assistance and trouble-shooting support for all mechanical equipment, and ensure that all maintenance activities and procedures are aligned with requirements.
• Improve machinery reliability and availability through the implementation of Reliability Engineering principles, techniques and tools, such as Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
• Contribute to the development of Predictive and Preventative Maintenance plans and procedures for all construction machinery, and provide technical expertise for maintenance activities, standards and procedures.
• Ensure all mechanical technical support delivery promises and adhere to adopt a pro-active approach to early identification on fault and troubleshooting issues.
• Work effectively with colleagues, customers, suppliers and all stakeholders and uphold the company values at all time. Also, liaising with external suppliers / sub-suppliers and third party engine dealers for engine related complaints.
• Performing day-to-day delivery of maintenance tasks, specifically preventive, corrective and contracts maintenance and to carry out performance improvement initiatives, observing work plan compliance for schedules maintenance to achieve equipment optimization.
• Identify the root cause of machinery faults/breakdowns and priorities corrective actions to meet operational processing objectives in association with maintenance team, making full use of the relevant central support systems and Investigate of machinery failure area and parts to ensure defect elimination.
• Provide technical expertise in support of maintenance efforts, problem diagnosis, equipment efficiency, operational, improvements, enquiries, orders and technical report for defected items, parts under warranty and communicates among vendors to give them feedback related to parts failure and symptoms.
• Analyzing failure trends to resolve performance disruptions, assisting and supporting operations with regard to ongoing maintenance activities and have excellent understanding of maintenance processes, calibration, development and methodologies.
• Conduct maintenance tests including measurements, adjustments, and parts replacement, performed specifically to prevent faults from occurring.
• Directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians and mechanics to carrying out quality inspection & commissioning on job site if needed.
Worked as a Service Engineer (Mechanical) reported to First Engineer of the Dredger. My responsibilities include keeping check and repair for the turbocharger of the dredger and also to keep provide scheduling maintenance of the dredger during the operation within the territory.
- Work with the service team to ensure services are carried out in accordance with the standards, client's requirements and perform schedule service task.
