Provided leadership for Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department to ensure that the projects are in accordance with the specifications. I am directly be reporting to the PMO Director and regularly interacted with representatives from a variety of functional groups, including program management, engineering and construction teams.

Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and quality management system
Develop Quality Management system, plans and procedures.
Assesses the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans on the site.
Witness testing as required by the contract and the job specifications and submit reports on the testing that was witnessed.
Prepare nonconformance reports and assist in developing corrective actions.
As finishing materials are provided by the Client (Marble, Ceramic and Porcelain tiles, Paint, Aluminum windows, Doors & Wardrobes, Glass, Sanitary and plumbing items)so I have been responsible for finishing materials record that how much materials have been received and how much remaining in different Contracts / projects.
Develop the comprehensive system of INVENTORY, distribution of finishing materials among different Contractors, MATERIAL RECORD of buildings and villas, compare it with BOQ so that all incoming materials shall be efficiently tracked.
Verified the supplier’s invoices. Upon verification supplier have been paid.
Ensure that materials delivered to site are as per specifications and from approved source. Ensure that each shipment contains test reports and submitted to the Engineer
Supervise sampling and testing of all materials as per specified frequency in line with specifications.
Responsible for the review and approval of Materials Submittals.
Responsible for the raising of NCR, Site Instructions and review the Corrective action reports.
Analyze the test results in a timely manner and recommend action to the Senior Resident Engineer.
Visit to Contractor’s Laboratory and ensure the proper functioning of Laboratory as per relevant standards. Ensure that Batching Plants are calibrated and functional.
Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with project specifications and collaborate with related departments and maintains the quality of materials.
Supervise and participate in the quality control and sampling and testing of materials and ensure its compliance with specifications.Responsible for the track and review of test reports.

ProjectFeatures:
It is unarguably a masterpiece and prestigious project in the gulf region. Estimated project cost is 900 million USD.
Project located at difficult hilly terrain, consisted construction of 3 Lane dual carriageway, Length is 40.8 Km having
more than 30 million m3 of excavation in hard strata and more than 10 million m3 of embankment and rockfill. It
includes variety of structures i.e. 4 balanced cantilever segmental bridges, pier height is 90m (highest in gulf region), 3
Arch Bridges (including inclined piles), & 4 I-Girder Bridges, Box Culverts, almost 4 Km of Mechanical Stabilized Earth
Walls system (More than 18m height), almost 4 Km of RC Retaining walls, Slope stabilization, rock bolts, rock anchors
up to 30m length and self-drilling rock bolts. It is also includes Hard-fill. Silica fume and GGBS has been used in
concrete. Hot applied polymer modified tack coat has been used. Polymer Modified Bitumen (PG 76-10) has been used
in asphalt Binder & Wearing Courses. Approximate volume of concrete is 450, 000 m3, and shotcrete 47, 000 m3 (Slope
stabilization) & 47, 000 m3 (Tunnels). Over 100, 000 m3 of concrete has been poured as Tunnel lining concrete.
Responsibilities/Accomplishments:
Involved in developing the complete system of project documentation at the start of project for the
controlling and distribution of documents in a professional way that there should not be any flaw in
the documents, also each and every document can be assessed in a secure manner. Prepared formats
and system for RFI’s, IMD, Material Approvals, Transmittals, and Method Statements etc.
