Major responsibilities included the following:
Overseen co-ordination with the Marketing and Sales Department and ensured that the sales system (which includes the issuance of sales invoices to the sales department, issuance of credit notes, booking of sales tax withheld certificates etc.) works smoothly;

Saved 15 million annually by reducing fixed spending 12% and variable overhead spending 19% through a variety of cost-improvement initiatives through better utilization of resources.

Participated in an agreed upon procedures engagement to provide professional services to Haji Sheikh Noor Din & Sons (Private) Limited (HSNDS) relating to process redesign as per Best Practices in line with HSNDS’s corporate guidelines and best practices with respect to internal controls. Contributed in computerized accounting environment exhibiting a high degree of proficiency. Supervised implementation of ERP, SQL Server 2008 R-2 in procurement sector and design particular controls to avoid replication and reproduction of documents and IDs.
Pakistan Cycle Industrial Co-Operative Society Ltd. (SOHRAB)
Internal audit assignment of SOHRAB Cycles and Motorcycle manufacturing and assembling unit involving inventory count. Valuation of internal control procedures and validation of documents prepared during whole manufacturing process; this include complete procedural audit from procurement to Quality Management System.
The company is involved in trading and manufacturing business of pesticide, fertilizer, agricultural chemicals and other general supplies in Pakistan. It was established in 1984. As a Management Accountant, I was responsible for the followings:
* Reconciliation of various accounts such as banks, cash accounts, customers and vendor accounts;
* Responsible for preparation of statements and accounts; depreciation, prepaid and accrued expenses;
* Revamped monthly financial reports including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements; and
* Delivered six-figure cost savings by expense analysis and achieved 15% annual expense deduction through analytic studies.
