Responsibilities: 1. Managerial Responsibilities: • Planning project work, creating schedule, Work Breakdown Structure and Enterprise Project Structure using Project Management Software (Primavera and MS Project) • Tracking project progress, recording actual data, updating schedule and reporting on progress. • Creating progress reports & curves and developing schedule and cost forecasts. • Optimization of resources by resource leveling. • Risk identification, analysis and mitigation. • Coordinating with site engineers and keeping them informed about planned tasks and budgeted quantities. • Coordinating with procurement department for procurement of material and machinery. • Coordinating with QC department for ensuring that quality standards are being met. • Collecting information about new requirements by collaborating with different sections of organization. • Approval of work from customer and documentation of lessons learned. 2. Technical Responsibilities: • Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of CNC machines for manufacturing of different parts • Conceptual Design and Complete modeling of all the proposed options and presenting them to higher-ups. • Forces calculation, static and dynamic analysis in Pro Mechanica/ANSYS. • Preparation of Production drawings with Bill of Materials.
Achieved PMP milestone in a very good standings. Focusing on Project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring&control and closing. Project planning & scheduling tools like MS Project and PRIMA VERA are used extensively throughout the project progress. A strong grip on project risk management is attained with core areas expertise like identification of risks, creation of risk register, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis using skills like monte carlo simulation and mitigating risks. Project Quality management is another core area been focused on. A detailed knowledge of total quality management and continuous improvement processes are additional flavors added to my knowledge library during the certification process. In the end having a good eight years of project management experience my theoretical knowledge of project management is very much enhanced by this certification.
