HABSHAN 1 includes Gas separation unit, Condensate stabilization, Gas treating (Amine Unit), Gas dew pointing (Molecular Sieve unit), NGL recovery & stabilization, Sulphur recovery (Claus process).
• Responsible for Technical Process Support for HABSHAN 1 Area 2, 3 Trains.
• Working for Monitoring, Trouble shooting, De bottlenecking.
• Team member to develop basis for ISO50001 Energy management 2013, Habshan 1.
• Lead Process Focal Point for Habsahn 1 shutdown in 2012, provide technical support, Vessel entry & boxed up clearance and assistance during replacement of molecular sieve, filters and demister pad.
• Performed conceptual studies, feasibility and design calculations for underground Coal Gasifier for 100 MW Power Plant. Ensuring application of correct codes and standards in the design and developed project strategies for management approval.
• Performed preliminary design calculations, equipment & line sizing for 120 MMSCFD Syn Gas Purification Complex which consist of,
Gas cleaning unit (based on cyclone separator, Electrostatic precipitator, wet Scrubber and heat exchangers).
Gas treatment unit (based on MDEA technique).
Gas dew pointing unit (based on Glycol/ Molecular sieve technique).
• Provide necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets.
• Participation in key meetings with client and/or licenser such as Kick-off Meeting, PFD Review Meeting, PID Review Meeting, HAZOP Meeting etc.
• Factory and site acceptance test of equipment instruments and skids.
• Implement process design, project development and economics / planning to increase the productivity and efficiency of the production units.
• Provide process engineering assistance to support operations to achieve their target goals.
• Active team member to performed process design simulation for raw natural gas processing, NGL fractionation using Aspen Hysys 2005.6.
• Responsible for Process modeling for the project of West Alberta and Saskatchewan pipeline to facility, preliminary design and system de-bottlenecking using Aspen Pipesys.
• Conducted feasibility studies/proposal for installation of new natural gas booster compressor at gas processing plant to reduce down time and enhance production. Also responsible for testing and incorporating all instrument logics.
• Successful implementation of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to achieve the targets of low inventory, better scheduling and meeting the target ship dates to increase the monthly revenue from $ 1.5 Million to $2.0 Million USD.
• Involved in property analysis of polymer materials used in Black Berry.
• Responsible for material testing and inspection of manufactured units.
• Performed work for characterization of polymer materials used in manufacturing.
• Responsible for implementation of 5S+1 program for process and operation department to educate the employees.
• Report any safety violations, potential risks identified during site visits to competent authorities to prevent accidents and production loss.
• Worked with Venders and EPCC during construction and installation of the mixed fertilizer plant, also establish the process laboratory.
• Prepared and reviewed process & QC manual (SOP’s) as per ISO 9002 requirement.
• Oversaw safety during construction/commissioning of compound fertilizer plant.
• Supervise pre commissioning & commissioning activities include HAZOP, vessel/line pressure testing, sand blasting and loop checking.
• Reviewed PFD and P & ID’s as per process requirement.
• Calculate process parameters for operation in term of flow, pressure, temperature for trouble free operation.
• Monitoring production targets and production forecast and set plan to upgrade facilities as required meeting future production.
• Developed facilities, equipment capacity, and performance test and identify present & future bottlenecks in view of future production forecast.
• Follows up on trials of new Blend of mix fertilizer, check and monitor their performance quality issues and issue relevant reports / recommendations in coordination with Field Production.
• In coordination with Operation engineers, monitoring and control of the process equipment’s performance with all respects including production units’ performance, product specification and raw material usage to achieve optimum, best economic and cost effective results.
• Involved in the upgrade of polycondensation plant with EPCC’s Zimmer Germany engineers.
• Reviewed and studied PFDs in order to proper installation of all related devices and vessels during plant commissioning phase.
• Performed lines pressure testing for solid-state polymerization plant.
• Developed plant start-up and shutdown activities also responsible for trouble shooting which include power failure and heat transfer medium (HTM downtherm) system failure.
• Performed annual budgeting and inventory control of import and local spares.
• Compiled and calculated production statistics, consumption ratios, energy consumption profiles, and specific consumption of chemicals.
• Produced emergency response and hazardous material handling procedures to reduce fatal injuries and to improve working environment safety.
• Monitored process units and equipment performance including reliability and maintenance management.
• Provided technical assistance in process and operation department for troubleshooting, planning holds, shutdowns, power failure management, and utilities failure.
I completed my Master's Chemical Engineering degree with Grade -A .During my studies I took some courses as an audit to learned some extra knowledge besides completion of my Graduate degree, these courses include,Transport Phenomena,Logistics and Supply Chain Management,Biological Wastewater treatement (theory and practice),Capillary and transport Phenomena in Porous Media.I got the certificate of ExpecTAtions TA training from department of chemical engineering.I performed my duties as Graduate student advisor for 4th year University of Waterloo Chemical Engineering student’s project on 'Design of Lignocellulosic Biomass Refinery BDE Inc using Aspen Hysys'.
I studies in Management of Business administration specialization in Marketing from Preston University USA to learn administrative and managerial techniques to utilized in my work place.During my Masters i took courses on organizational behavior, statistics and strategic management etc.
I studies Masters Applied Chemistry with specialization in Petroleum Refinery engineering and Fertilizer plant.During my eduction i went through number of courses on Heat transfer,Mass transfer,Advanced fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics ,Kinetics, Unit operation,Unit process, Industrial Statistics and Quality control. During my four years of program i go through number of engineering workshop/labs. I successfully completed final year training from National Refinery Limited lube one refinery.
I studies Bachelor (Honors) in Applied Chemistry as four years program lead to specialization in Petroleum Refinery engineering and Fertilizer plant.During my studies i went through number of courses on Heat transfer, Mass transfer, Advanced fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics,Kinetics, Unit operation, Unit process, Industrial Statistics and Quality control. During my three years Bechlor program as a part of studies i worked in number of engineering workshop/labs.
