Responsible for the management and functioning of all electronic devices in the company, including the (servers and networks, computers, printers, tracking devices cars and vehicles, surveillance cameras, car navigation devices) and that in the following way:
- Maintenance of hardware and software.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of computer hardware and software
- Concepts and administration of computer and network operating systems and applications.
- Practices and methods of systems administration and maintenance.
- V. Knowledge of TCP/IP including firewall configuration and maintenance.
- V. good knowledge of the Internet, HTTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP and related protocols.
- Principles, practices, and techniques in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of server hardware and software.
- V. good knowledge on Local Area Networks (LANs).
- Implement the IT procedure for the software & hardware.
- Servers & Networks: Prepare, installation & update for all software up to Windows Server 2012.
- Work with project teams to help implement Internal Systems.
- Provide sufficient training to all users on new and running modules and on basic Microsoft Windows applications.
- Perform systems security administration functions.
- Manage and follow-up to each system to track vehicles through technology vehicle tracking system navigational (GPS Tracker).
- Manage and follow up everything that the control system via the cameras and recording devices (DVR & NVR).
- Download the latest maps for navigation devices (Garmin) automotive and all countries of the world.
- Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
- Ensure smooth running of all IT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision.
- Write or modify basic scripts to resolve performance problems and automate systems administration tasks.
- Maintain system documentation and logs.
- Perform or assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems; corrects identified problems.
- Perform systems administration functions for the e-mail system. Responsible for effectively managing company’s e-mail addresses by creating ID’s for all required new staff.
- Ensuring smooth & secured operation of all e-mails and cancellation upon leaving the Company.
- Administer secure links with public key encryption, anti-virus, user authentication and intrusion detection.
- Maintain application security, event investigations and compliance enforcement. Implement & ensure the securities of data from internal and external attack/hacking.
- Maintain periodically backup for all company data, format and install any version of operating system (Windows) and recently, download all teletext and updated Windows, Handling the process of retrieving data deleted by mistake (Data Recovery), if necessary, from any device.
- Perform systems backups and recovery procedures. Ensure data protection.
- Provide monitoring and primary response and intervention for information technology related security incidents and violations.
- Ensure that a complete inventory of supplies and parts are maintained and that all shortages are ordered in a timely manner.
- Ensure that company’s IT assets are maintained responsibly.
- Keep current with new Information Technology Security protocols, applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
