Duties and responsibilities:
• Control all the QC work at Ruwais site.(Ruwais Housing Complex Expansion Phase IV)
• Receiving the approved shop drawing and review before start the production.
• Checking the mould preparation before casting and steel fabrication.
• Checking the post after the product of precast elements.
• Preparing the documents for Pre-pour and Post Production.
• Recording and updating cube results, moisture, sieve analysis
• Checking reinforcement as per the approved drawings
• Inspection of mould for Solid walls, Parapets, Claddings,
• To perform the final inspection before casting such as the proper position of reinforcement,
• Required diameter, concrete cover, chairs and to ensure the steel are cleaned and free for all grit, rust, dust and other deleterious materials.
• To ensure the location, sizes and quantity of all embedded items such as couplers, grout tubes, steel loops, and electrical boxes.
• Attending concrete for slumps
• Preparing quality documents.
• To perform an Inspection for finishing works and proper curing.
• Reporting the Deficiency of product to the QC Manager.
• Performs quality control functions at the Factory;
• Maintains inspection and test records;
• Checking Mould, Reinforcement and Delivery as per the(AFC) approved drawings
• Preparing PRE-POUR, POST-POUR & FINAL inspections papers
• Preparing quality documents.(MVR, ITR)
• Attending site visit
• Checking erection work as per approved drawings
• Checking repair, repairing materials and propose proper repair method statement
• Liaise with the consultant and clients on quality inspections
• Check the corrective action and preventive action in the instance of any quality deficiencies.
• Advise the senior management for any input of quality improvement
• Inform the senior management in advance the possibility of quality defect and raise quality alarm to prevent defect.

Hollow Core Experience
• I am fully responsible for production of Hollow Core slabs.
• Checking the stressing force for Hollow Core before the production.
• Checking the slab for cracks, voids and broken corner.
• Fully responsible for delivery of hollow core slabs.
• Preparing pre-stressing data check sheet.
• Preparing strand samples and collecting tags for consultant’s submittal.
• Quality Control over raw materials as per BS ASMT
• Checking on the temperature gradients during casting.
• Checking concrete cubes on the crushing machine in QC lab.
• Determining the time require for appropriate curing.
• Checking the slab condition prior to their being send to the sites as per FIP and PCI manual.
• Checking on Mix design.
